Traveling with my parents, we stopped here for what we thought would be a quick order to go for our roadtrip back home of 3hrs. Ordered 3 fajita tacos with avocado to go and they took 20mn to have it ready for us. Not only did we loose travel time for waiting so long, but as we drove off, not even 2mn on the road, we had to return because my parents tacos did not have avocado, as requested. Normally we do not write negative reviews, but what bothered us the most was not the food but the treatment of the hostess. When we got back to the restaurant, my dad got off and shared with the hostess that the tacos did not have avocado and we had paid for it, she did not give good customer service and was being difficult. She offered some non sanitary suggestions like taking the tacos back to the kitchen to spread avocado on the tortilla, my dad requested the avocado be given on the side but she was being rude and said he had to pay for something he had already paid for. My dad did not feel heard and ended up leaving the tacos, that had been paid for, with the hostess and walked off frustrated by this experience. Again, we usually do not write negative reviews, but this treatment was not fair and I hope no one else experiences this or perhaps some training needs to be given to the hostess so that she can make the customer feel understood and cared for. Disappointed.

Was driving back to Houston with my brother and we wanted to sit down for dinner somewhere right off I-10. A quick google search had Earnesto’s just off the freeway but a lower “star” rating from couple bad reviews had us cautious , but we took a chance and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and came out fast. The server was very attentive with a smile every time she came by. The restaurant was busy but no loud and the overall experience was great. I took a minute to read some of the lessor reviews and saw it was mostly small things so I knew I needed to share our positive experience. If you are on the west side and want to have some authentic Mexican cooking. Make sure you stop by Earnesto’s!

Kid-friendliness: Tables are far enough apart that akid can still be a kid and not bump into another patron.

Got super lucky. The spicy fajita meal had a tastier steak than the salty ribeye at a steakhouse the previous night. The sauces for the chips were def good and unique. I don't care for Mexican food. In fact, I tried a different place, in a different city, the following day. it was bad. That's how I know Ernesto's food is worth it.

Go to ANY other Mexican restaurant in Sealy. Even Taco Bell. Idk why this place is even still open. The original location in Brookshire is 10× better.

The staff was very friendly and the food was great, with large portions, but the menu was minimal. I just ordered some tacos. They only served menudo on the weekends, and they didn't have chicharon tacos.

Ernesto's Mexican restaurant is top tier. The service is second to none. The food is the best. Easily the best restaurant in Sealy hands down. Unsure what to get? Not too hungry? Try the Flameado. Is a cheese with your choice of vegetables and meats with an order of corn or flour tortillas. Can be customized. Actually any dish can be made special to order. The waiters are easy to work with and the accuracy of the orders are always spot on. You will not be hungry long. You immediately get chips and salsa. Then they bring out a bean soup. Marvelous. They even got the Mexican coke in a glass bottle. Dont settle for less. Ernesto's is the best.
