Went thru drive thru. Food was fresh and hot, My only problem is that then also need to put take out in the plastic bags as the grease seeps thru the paper bag and gets my truck greasy

Have not been to a Hartz Chicken buffet in quite some time I stopped in at the one in Sealy Texas it is definitely small even the buffet area where the chicken was only old like four pieces of chicken at a time I will say the one closer into Houston is way bigger and way more food out but for a small town it's not bad

Buffets can be iffy depending on the time of day and for a lot of other various reasons.
On my most recent visit at around 1 PM on a Saturday all of the food on the buffet was very fresh and well stocked with a large selection. Delicious!

We stopped here for some chicken around 8:30. Placed a drive thru order for some tenders and 3-piece dark. There was a car ahead of us in line. After about 10 minutes that car received its order and left. We pull up to the window and we're told that they were out of chicken and they only have tenders. My question is, how are you out of chicken when it's, literally, in your name? That's like going to Taco Bell and being told they're out of tacos...unbelievable.
Owner HOY (I think that’s how you spell it) is always so nice when we see him. Staff is so sweet as well. Always very welcoming and the food is always fresh. My husband and I love eating here.

Place not busy 4 customers waiting no recognition as any of the customers were entering. First customer was waited on before we arrived she had been waiting on her food for 10 minutes,2nd customers walked out we came in as 3rd and a 4th customer walked in . He asked us how long we waited then he walked out at that point we also walked out . Bad service and there were 3 people working.
