It's okay... not worth the price, long lines and no parking. Customers park illegaly everywhere in reserved parking spots making Thursday & Wednesday hell for everyone else on Court Street. Towing needs to be enforced. Find Better BBQ in Lockhart.

I've been waiting for over a year to try this place and I finally got the opportunity. First off be prepared to wait in line, we got there @1030 and a line 30 plus deep was already forming. This place is nestled in the historic part of Seguin in a with a cool vibe and the food was definitely worth the wait. Brisket was packed with flavor and the house sausage was delicious as well.

Food was fantastic, Brisket had a nice bark and just melted in your mouth, Ribs had a nice sweetness but it didn't overwhelm the Pork goodness, nice pull, super tender but not falling off the bone mushy, Turkey, if it was any moister,it would have been a liquid, great Turkey flavor. The corn pudding was definitely different, it's a side I would order every time, was too full to try dessert, next time, and there will definitely be a next time, my wife is already taking about renting the Stairway to Heaven, the Airbnb, next door.

The food, which is still available, is excellent. Otherwise, if you want a choice, you need to be prepared to come early and wait in line. The order and delivery process is extremely inefficient and frustrating. The ambiance is pleasing, if you are not already off put by the order and processing experiences. I cannot justify the wait time versus the favor profiles of the food.

Burnt Bean BBQ offers a mouthwatering experience for barbecue enthusiasts. Their brisket is a standout, perfectly smoked and bursting with flavor. Accompanied by delectable sides, every bite is a delight. The spacious indoor and outdoor seating options provide a welcoming atmosphere, though be prepared for a long line starting as early as 9 AM on weekends. Despite the wait, the quality of the food and ample seating make Burnt Bean BBQ worth every minute.

WORTH THE WAIT. WORTH THE DRIVE!!! if you love good food and even better company then this is your new favorite restaurant. i'm a harsh critic when it comes to texas bbq, but this meal exceeded my expectations. mr. servantes was so down to earth, making me feel right at home with his cooking and hospitality. my family and i will be back !!! especially for the bad ass carne guisada!! thanks for sharing your talents with the world!!

Excellent food. Good service. Friendly/social ambiance. Get there early though as lines start forming up before it opens (that probably tells you something right there!).

We got here at 11:30 on a Thursday and there were at least 50 people in the line ahead of us, so you can probably expect the same on your visit. It took us half an hour just to reach the front door and another 20 inside. So if you're not committed to spending close to an hour just to get to the counter you may wish to consider other dining options. The interior of this high ceilinged old brick building is held together with an impressive framing of steel works. There's plenty of seating inside and out. When you finally make it to the counter, you will order the main course there and if you want dessert or drinks, you'll go to a second cashier and pay for those separately. They do offer free water, but there are no alcoholic beverages sold here. Two things you should notice when you check out and that is they do charge a fee if you use a credit card, but at least the tip screen won't be there to greet you for more of your hard earned cash. Let's face it, barbecue is expensive these days, but this place is pretty much in line with everyone else, it's just the way it is. Both the brisket and the ribs had a deep smoke ring and were perfectly cooked and succulent. They were as good as it gets! After we finished, I wished I had got some ribs to go, but the line was still long when we left. They serve a fresh mayo coleslaw and their cowboy beans are perfectly seasoned. They do offer you two styles of barbecue sauce, but to be honest, you really don't need any. Looking back, I definitely will come back to this place, but next time I'd get some to go as well. Plenty of photos included for more insight.

This place is my new favorite in Texas. Far better BBQ than any of the joints I've visited the past year from Rockport TX to Corpus. The drive of 3 hours was worth it and will be doing again real soon.
