Kristan was amazing and the tastings were just as amazing. Tasted mainly the whites because I am not a red type. Shockingly the red I tasted was actually good. Of course I can't remember the name of it. However check this place out and you won't be disappointed. See you again in a couple weeks Texas Mead!

Fantastic mead!!! If you are someone who likes sweet wines or want to try something new, we highly recommend! They also had their little puppy there saying hello to everyone and he was sooooo cute! Very nice staff and atmosphere! Although we would have loved if they had stickers for us to buy! Fantastic place!

We've tried many meads from meaderies all over and we weren't expecting much. We were very pleasantly surprised! You can actually smell and taste the fruit and the honey. Don't go expecting wine snobs, these are people who like to taste the fruit, and that requires some sweetness. We bought a bottle and will buy more!

So delicious! Lots of cool flavors. Great environment in the back too. Real hidden gem that is more welcoming for people who don’t like the upper tiers of the wine scene.

Where do I begin. I'm the King of Random so I visited Texas Mead Works on the fly and had a great experience. Let's start with the staff, beyond friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable of their selection and will guide you thru your tasting. I've never had mead before and now I'm hooked. The scenery here is beautiful. . .you can feel Texas. I tasted 5 different meads and bought 3 bottles and a jug (don't judge me). The Lucky Monk, I need this delivered to me weekly, it's that good. They offer sleeping quarters as well. Shout out to the young lady behind the bar that made the experience complete. I will definitely be back.
