I was treated very kindly by the waitress and staff, I ordered a lengua plate that comes with rice and beans, beans had no flavor as well as the rice, the lengua was half charred, one tortilla looked like it was still in masa form (undercooked and thick). I commend the staff for their attentiveness but the food just didn't do it for me, I still tipped and shared my concern with the host. I will try again in the future and revise if the food improves.
I love the huevos ranchero because the differance between this place and any other is that they serve you steaming hot salsa for hot food, instead of putting cold salsa on hot food. I will go out of my way just to eat there.
Look, any reviews here should food. And, specifically, a taqueria should be about street tacos. I ordered at the window, and waited about 10 minutes, which is reasonable. I had the Barbacoa tacos, and the Pastor, and the beans. Everything was fantastic. I’ve Had street tacos all over Texas, I have had them all over California. I’ve had tacos in Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic. These were some of the best I’ve ever had. Getcha some.
