The food was OK, the service OK and the atmosphere OK. It's good enough to try...Parking: There is actually plenty of parking, but not beside the restaurant. You may have to park and walk to the restaurant.

A buddy of mine told me to give this place a try. Despite some of the negative reviews, we still decided to give it a try. For a Saturday night, there was a lot of people. We asked to be seated outside since the weather was perfect and was seated immediately. Service seemed to be running a little backed up but we understand and didn’t bother us too much as the scenery was perfect. Although our 2 appetizer dishes literally came out 2 minutes before our entrees, the food was great and big portions (chicken fried chicken). Overall, food was great, atmosphere was perfect! We would definitely come back again, my wife and daughters loved it and were excited to see the river and scenery

We came for dinner and our waitress Madi was awesome! We got the catfish plater so juice and seasoned perfectly! We loved the tarter sauce too! I had the chicken fried chicken it was huge! Salad was fresh and had lots of toppings! Don't forget to get the hand battered Onions and mushrooms! The band (Granvil Poynter) was amazing as well!

We didn’t have a great experience the first time we tried this place, but decided to give it another shot. It was not very busy, only two other tables were seated indoors when we arrived. The hostess sat us immediately. We then waited 20 minutes and never saw a server. Tables in other sections were being served, but ours was nowhere to be seen. There were however two other servers seated at the bar the entire time. Ultimately left and ate somewhere else.

We were in town for a Regional Track meet and it was a good place to celebrate with the team. The fact that it was Karaoke night was an added bonus. Staff was attentive. Food was good. We all had a great time.

If you like flies all over you and your food this is the place for you. Food is just okay. Alcoholic drinks are terrible! But beer is on tap or bottled so that can't be bad. Atmosphere is pretty amazing. It's worth going for the view.

Wonderful atmosphere and attentive friendly service. The menu is a little limited, but it is delicious. I will definitely go back when I'm in town.

The Powerplant Texas Grill is a vintage powerhouse converted to a restaurant. The building/main dining room is very impressive! Some of the old equipment is still in the dining room and adds a lovely vintage atmosphere. The restaurant offers inside and outside dining, both of which offer a beautiful view of the river. My companion and I were there for lunch. Our server was pleasant, but she forgot my companion's bar order, so we reminded her. She didn't check back with us, so we had to flag her down, twice. For our meal we ordered queso frog dip appetizer and the meatloaf and bison burger for our entrees. The appetizer was tasty and would be something I would order again. The meatloaf was just so-so and the portion was not what I would call generous. The side salad that came with it was the tiniest I had ever seen served in any restaurant! The bison burger was good, but overcooked/too charred.Perhaps we caught this place on an off afternoon, but I wasn't impressed with the food or the service. The atmosphere and view are both stunning though and worth giving this restaurant a try.Parking: The parking lot is right out front of the restaurant. There are plenty of parking spots including handicap parking.Kid-friendliness: I think kids would enjoy the restaurant and patio areas the best. They can spy turtles in the river below from either the main dining room or the patio. And there is a casual atmosphere and room to move around.Wheelchair accessibility: There are several handicap parking spots and a wheelchair accessible ramp. The only downside to the ramp is that it leads to the upper level of the restaurant, bar, and patio. The main dining room is not accessible by wheelchair.

It was our first time here. Newlyweds to the area of Kingsbury and Seguin, we wanted to try and find our "new" spot.Upon arrival, around 6pm, it was not busy we were able to get a table very quickly.A server greeted with a smile. We chose to sit outside because it was a gorgeous day.We started out with the fried stuffed jalapeno poppers, which was new for us and very yummy. Fresh jalapeños and the stuffing was delicious and creamy. My husband ordered the market price steak of the day with rice and pablano creamed corn. He ate everything. I ordered the Cajun pasta with steak medium rare, which included a side salad and garlic toast. Everything was delicious. My only complaint was the atmosphere based on the servers. They didn't seem to care to be there. I felt bad for whoever they were serving! Sluggish attitudes, no Inviting charisma from anyone, other than a smile. It dwindled my expectations for the place until I received my food. My server was great. He just didn't give us his name and I shouldn't have to ask for it. I didn't see a manager around, if there was, they didn't seem to want to be around either to make sure customers were greeted properly.Overall food and view was great, I just feel some more pep talks for the servers is needed.

The atmosphere was nice. The waitress was just ok. I asked her twice what was the steak of the day and the price. She said t-bone and twice I heard her say $20.99. When I got the bill it was $29.95. For starters it tasted like a pork chop. And looked like a pork chop. Everyone that tried it said that's a pork chop. Then looking at my bill I had alcoholic beverage on my ticket I did not order. And a soda I did not order. When I mentioned it to the waitress she said she would take it off. But while she went to take it off, my daughter was on the way to the restroom. The waitress was complaining about me because I questioned my bill. The food was definitely not worth the price. The service wasn't great either. This was my first time there. It definitely will be my last.
