I am a frequent customer at A Dong Restaurant.
Sunday, 02/22/2026:
Our family dined in and ordered our usual, which is: General Tso Fried Tofu. We wanted it to be extra crispy and the food came out perfect. We enjoyed our dinner. The servers were very attentive and recommended us many new dishes that we would try the next time we come.
We decided to come back on Wednesday, 02/25/2026, because we wanted our parents to try out the restaurant since they were in town. Our servers were nice as always. Our parents food came out pretty quick, but the 3 General Tso Fried Tofu took longer than normal. Suddenly we heard some really loud banging noise from the kitchen, as it was someone throwing pots and pans. We asked the server if everything was ok. He reassured us that it was just a falling pan. After about 20 minutes, our dishes finally came. The Tofu was not properly fried and super soggy. It would have been fine, because we are not very picky, until one of the older lady kitchen staff came out and gave us the most disgusting side eye. She slammed the bathroom door super load as if she was upset with us. She came back to the kitchen and seems like she was yelling or cussing at the server. Later the server did come out and apologized to us for the inconvenience, even though we understand that it was not the server's fault. He did also offer to remake the dishes but for us the meal was already done. The last couple time was perfect but this time it was pretty upsetting.
We love A Dong Restaurant so much and do not want this 1 bad experience ruined our go-to Vietnamese restaurant. Please do better!

I had the General Tso's chicken with fried rice and a hot and sour soup and my daughter ordered the chicken fried rice. My daughter's chicken fried rice smelled and tasted very strong of fish. She returned it and asked for a new plate but was told it would come out the same. I may be wrong but that tells me they cook everything on the same grill including their fish. I thought my meal had a slight taste of fish but ate it anyway. I've been burping up a disgusting fish taste all day after eating here. I've eaten here multiple times and I've never experienced this before. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I eat here. I'm pretty grossed out and will not be returning.

Best sweet and sour chicken and wonton soup I’ve had. Fried rice and egg roll were delicious too! Great spot.

This place is definitely worth your time and money. I ordered the pork and spring roll vermicelli bowl and was shocked at the ample serving of pork which was thick cut and yet extremly tender and so flavorful! The friendly waitstaff alone is reason enough but the quality of the food paired with the peaceful outdoor seating area makes this a must visit!

Ordered ‘triple delight’ shrimp, chicken, beef and got this…… soooooo…
Went back couple more times requesting not too much broccoli, heh, nope! Waiters n waitresses do not communicate well n seems they frankly ,don’t care.
Not going back.
But you gotta try it for yourself to find out.

I typically enjoy the food, however, recently I ordered vegetable Pho and vermicelli to dine in. Getting full from the vermicelli and only tasting the pho once, I asked the waiter if I could have the pho to go. Once I got home, I noticed that all the broth was gone. I called and told them about the broth. I was told to come back to the restaurant to pick up broth to replace it. They gave me this tiny cup of broth. Not even close enough of a ratio to all the contents of the pho. I'm highly disappointed because I ordered the pho to have the broth to help with my cough. I feel like my time and money was wasted.

The food was good, but the service was not. Our waitress didn't say a single word to us. It felt like we were an inconvenience.
