Came across Big Fred’s one day and haven’t been going anywhere else since! Fred is always so welcoming and brisket never disappoints!! So good by 4 year old eats every last bit of him 2 meat plate!

We tried the brisket, turkey, wings, potato salad, green beans and the Mac and cheese. We Got there around 8:30, they close at 9. We definitely didn't think we would get the best of choices coming so late. But, boy were we wrong!! The brisket fell apart, absolutely delicious smokey flavor, the turkey was soo moist!! The wings fell right off the bone! The smokey flavor on all the meats was perfect!! The sides were good, and I really liked the sauce!! Go out and support this local business, you won't be disappointed!!
Dida google search and wanted to give this place a try. Did not disappoint! I thought Rudy’s was good barbecue… Big Fred’s BBQ is way better! The chicken is perfectly cooked with amazing flavors and seasoning. The brisket sandwich and green beans are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is great too!

I’m from OAK CLiFF Tx down here working and Big Fred has the best BBQ I’ve had . The ribs and brisket was tinder and wasn’t dry . Didn’t even need any sauce on the meat. The green beans and very good. Taste WAY Better than that Bill Miller bullshit. And the prices in Great! Got half a pound off ribs and a brisket plate with two sides for $30.00 with the tip ! FYI. Don’t judge the book by its cover.

This is excellent bbq. I did go a bit late in the evening, so the brisket wasn’t 100% moist, but the flavor was on point, very smoky. The bbq sauce was very good. We come here on a regular basis now, it does not disappoint. I see so many bad reviews here, and majority have nothing to do with the food. If you are lazy enough to order bbq thru doordash, you should not even have the audacity to post a review…good or bad. Also, the parking is on grass behind the place, who in their right mind would give a bbq place a 1 star review because they feel parking was inadequate. This is a great local business, you should support if you want, but most definitely you should not tarnish just because you are in a bad mood.
