It is hard to go wrong with Cheddar's. I love that their Philly is back and love their chicken tender family meal. Good quality food at a fair price.

Ordered 2 orders of steak bits with mashed potatoes, I had a lot of tough meat which I couldn't eat and the portions of meat were nearly there for what I paid. This was my second time for a not best experience I had at chedders. It's a hit or Miss place for me.

Polite service, good food, wonderful lunch experience. You will need to keep reminding them for refills of drinks.

Stopped in twice of the course of a week, always had a seat available, always someone upfront to serve you. Staffing over lunch can be a little lite for the crowd size so your service may lag a little. Having said that the food and drinks are both top notch, and taste as good as they look.

During the late evening on January 10, 2026, my family (of five) dined at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen in Selma, TX. We were greeted warmly, seated quickly and served by Jayda (waitress). She immediately took our order; returning with our food selection which was very well prepared with great taste and served to our satisfaction. Of importance, please know Jayda was polite, attentive and provided exceptional customer service throughout our dining experience. That’s Great Customer Service for which she should be applauded and rewarded!! Thank you Jayda! And thanks to management and staff who had a hand in our experience!

HUGE HUGE THANK YOU to the cook who finally redesigned this sandwich and redeemed my OG order. I will becoming back more often. So much so I spoke to the manager Sarah and made sure to tell the cook thank you for the redesign.
HUGE thank you to our server for a party of 11 who took the best care of my family and made us feel so welcomed. Adrian you rock!!! 🤘

Terrible service waited 15 minutes just for drinks it’s not even busy at all and then had to ask for croissants that came out cold. The waiter never came to check on us and we waited nearly 20 minutes after asking for the check to receive it.

This is isn't the first time we've been disappointed by Cheddars, but it will be the last. To their credit: friendly/attentive wait staff, great drinks... but the food has continuously disappointed us. After a long, 30m wait, the chicken alfredo had a watery sauce, the ribs were dry, the chicken was dry. Cheddars has a few good things on the menu (monte cristo, burger, chicken tenders) but the rest isn't appetizing. I dont think Cheddars knows what kind of restaurant it is, yet? It seems stuck between a tropical-jimmy-buffet-maragritaville, and a crocker-barrel/marie-calenders. Its for tired parents, with fussy young kids who won't eat.

Chicken pot pie was cold, monte cristo's were burnt and blistering hot. Fries also were cold.
