Food is delicious and owner is amazing! Our company Texas Vets Roofing has been renovating an office in Gun Barrel City, 1 week ago someone broke in and completely destroyed everything we’ve done. Adam heard about our story and asked to provide lunch one day while we are working to clean and rebuild. 100% recommend Feed Trough BBQ, for not only their amazing food, but their amazing heart for people.

Great food service and prices right here in 7 Points. Called in for a takeout order and get there it's ready to go get home it's hot order is perfect and was just informed that breakfast is being served Saturday and Sunday. Just keeps getting better and better

An excellent chick fried steak on Sunday. One of the best I’ve had anywhere. Steak is cut from a side of beef that the cook brings in. None of those frozen patties there. AND the gravy is perfect, not over-spiced or with a consistency that screams “canned “.

Straight up been waiting on legit BBQ to come back to the lake. Feed Trough has new management/owner... because of that, we had to give it a try again and WOW!!!! We will be eating there often!! Especially since they offer more than just BBQ, don’t even get me started on that amazing jalapeño chili cheese burger, takes a few minutes to get but anytime you’re cooking a 1/2 of fresh hamburger meat, you’re gonna wait and the wait is well worth it.

Excellent as always. Adam has done a great job with the place since taking over. He is kind and courteous and serves some great North Caroline barbecue as well as Texas Barbecue. My wife and I ate at the Feed Trough, today. We split the 4 meat plate. Awesome ribs, pulled pork, chopped and sliced brisket, green beans and okra, with Texas toast and some good conversion with old friends. Thanks for making our Saturday meal special. A++
