Family owned and operated. They are well established in N. Texas and elsewhere. Live bands on weekends. It's a great place for any occasion Excellent food! The best in the area.

Visited on Thursday 2/13/25 for a steak night early Valentine dinner.

We were seated promptly in a booth and then met our server Kristena M. She was very friendly, outgoing, and attentive. Sadly, she was the best part of my visit.

We both ordered the ribeye steak medium rare. My wifes food all came out ok. My steak had such heavy grill marks on it that every bite left a burnt taste in my mouth. The fries i substituted for came out cold undercooked and greasy all at the same time. Could not eat those at all. Kristena did offer to try to make my order right, but i declined because by the time i would have gotten other food, my wife would have been done eating. The dinner rolls were large, fluffy, and had a good flavor.

There was a blonde woman dressed in all black that stopped at all the tables around us but not ours. I assume she was in some sort of management position as she was asking how peoples meals were. Wished she would have stopped at our table.

After spending over $80 for food and tip, I am not sure if i would come back to give it another try.

I absolutely love the pot roast and carrots. I can taste it as I type. My wife like the chicken pot pie and she only wishes it didn’t have potatoes in it.

Idk where to begin... first off our service was good i think it's because the workers know how bad the food and environment are.

The place itself is outdated and just gross. The booth we got one side was torn up lucky my husband always sits by me. The table was this flower vinyl stuff and it almost looked like there were mold spots on it. It's needs to be completely remodeled. It's such a pretty spot on the lake and everything is so gross in there....

The food was the worst part... we got queso fries which were the only thing I ended up eating because of how bad my meal was. My husband got quesadillas there were okay but over loaded with cheese that was so greasy it was a lot!!! The dish is got was the Alfredo (if you can call it that) when it came out smelled so bad I was instantly nauseous. It was the worst thing I have ever tasted! I gagged after the first bite and didn't eat anymore! So my dish the poor waitress did try to warn me I'm not going to give a name because I don't want anyone to get into trouble but she did tell me it was bad and a lot of people send it back even when they do like blue cheese (that is what is sprinkled ontop) I asked to try the sauce and she let me and it wasn't bad but when they brought the dish out the noodles were mushy but on the bottom they were burnt as if it was sitting on a warmer for too long and the steak was so chewy you couldn't get through it. Like I said I've never ate anything that bad. There's no way the owner has tasted that and thought oh yeah let's put that on the menu.... my mind is blown..

The sad thing is that was supposed to be a special dinner our neighbors gifts us with for helping them during this last cold front and was have 3 little kids one with a mental disability so when never get to or spend time alone so besides leaving hungry we left disappointed our only alone time was wasted there.

Broke down tables holes in walls and fish and chips the worst food of all times chicken pot pie ok flavor less do not recommend manager never even asked horrible waitress needs to go to a good place she was great

The location offers a beautiful view of the lake, food and drinks were good. The service was amazing, very tentative to us. We found this place while on one of our exploration bike rides.

My wife and I went with our two dogs and sat out on the very large patio. It wasn’t very busy. Service was phenomenal! Our waitress was very good! The food was good with huge portions. We full-time RV and have marked this as a “Must Return” the next time we’re in the area. Great view of the lake.

Nice place. A paint job would do wonders and daily clean to the rafters and the patio could make a huge difference. It’s not ideal looking up at cobwebs and dust above your head when you’re eating. The food is okay and the place has a lot of potential. It would be nice to see some money invested into vernons. This place could certainly be five star with some TLC. I would still recommend.

Service was great that's why it's not 1 star . Prices i was charged was different then the menu. Food was so so. Place was very dirty. Don't waste your time, I would never return..

Amazing patio! Kid and dog friendly, view is wonderful. Quality atmosphere, nice staff, nice management, owner is very nice and friendly. The burgers are great and it’s perfect place for a quick drink or a nice dinner by the lake!
