Extremely disappointed. I had high hopes for this place and they fell flat on their face short. Let's start with the buzzing thumping noise coming from the live band outside. Wouldn't have been that bad If we didn't have to listen to it for over an hour waiting for two steaks and two baked potatoes. Was offered lemonade as one of the drinks available when it was brought to the table it was pink lemonade and tasted like it was old. I requested a Sprite instead. This was about 20 minutes before our food came out. I never got the Sprite until I went up to the bar and asked for it after choking down less then half of a dry ribeye that tasted like burnt gas or lighter fluid and then was given the sprite a styrofoam cup. "Fine dining" The dry burnt ribeye that I choke down Less than half of because I didn't want to ruin the evening by sending food back. My wife asked what was wrong and insisted I say something. When I did bring it up I was told I'm sorry there's nothing I can do about it you ate it. Don't call yourself a fine dying establishment if your food quality is subpar and you're serving people drinks in styrofoam cups. The atmosphere and concept of a speakeasy was really cool but the experience was awful.

Disappointed

Had to wait 50 minutes to get food. Vegetables were a joke, three tiny carrots. Small cold baked potato, no salt or pepper on the table. Rib eye was burnt on outside and rare on the inside. Very expensive! Four slices of bread with three nickel size medallion of butter. Had water, no appetizers or desserts. One play mignon and one 14 ounce ribeye $98 + tip=$115.

The seafood is awesome. The steak was way over salted. The meat was great quality. I hope when they reopen, they learn how to season a steak.

Just ate our last meal at V's restaurant next to Vernon's Lakeside. This is the second time our customer service was sorely inept. We were seated and our order was taken at 5:24. Our meal was served at 6:45. We waited and waited for our appetizer then, after finishing, we waited, and waited for our salad and soup. After it was finished we waited and waited again. Then bread was brought in (almost as an appeasement) so it seemed. Finally, after an hour and 21 minutes, our meals were served. My daughter had ordered lobster and I had lamb chops. The 3 of us had baked potatoes with our meals. The lobster as well as the baked potatoes were luke warm. I had to ask a different waitress for water refills. I was livid, I'd really bragged up V's to my daughter, who was visiting from Salt Lake, Utah, and was let down. As I said earlier, this was the second time the wait staff there acted uninterested in our dining experience. I won't be going back and I certainly wouldn't recommend V's. We'll be looking for a more accommodating restaurant for our next special occasion.

This was honestly the experience of a lifetime! We just went for a nice date night. After a knock on what felt like a dungeon door and giving a password, we were transported to the 1920s. The entrance to this place once inside is the coolest thing, please go check it out. Not only is the atmosphere amazing, the food is absolutely spectacular. Everything tasted amazing. It was honestly the best food I’ve probably ever had, but be aware I’m young. Even the martinis were perfectly crafted. The service was impeccable. Very attentive without being annoying. They were so sweet. We’ll be back to V’s time and time again. It was unforgettable, and I’m grateful a place like this exists in Cedar Creek Lake.

My boneless ribeye was fatty and tasteless..even my husband said so. His primerib was delicious. Drinks were great and wine recommendations was great. Service was great.. when our waitress was busy someone else just lent a hand. Great atmosphere! We will go again. No more ribeye for me.

We were blown away in all aspects of our first visit to V's. The entire visit was amazing. Even making the reservation, Angel was so sweet. The password entrance was fun. The service was fantastic. The wine selection was perfect, the martinis are perfectly blended, and the meal was amazing. Our party of four was individually blown away with the quality, flavor, and presentation of each dish. We each ordered something different however we all had steak, and their steaks are to die for. You don't need to drive to Dallas to get this quality of a meal, it's right here.
