“My husband, my grandmother & I came to eat at Long Branch tonight. I have to say it was probably the best steak i’ve eaten yet!! The salad was fresh & tasted delicious, the baked potato was the perfect portion, the toast was golden and cooked perfectly & the steak was divine, also cooked perfectly how I wanted. The service was quick & timely. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing and welcoming. It wasn’t too hot or too cold in the building. I love that it’s also a bar & that they have pool tables. I love the bar variety that they have & this place is also very clean!! The owner is also super nice! Prices were fair. 10/10 best dinner & experience. I will be coming to eat here again & 10/10 would recommend.”

“Loved this place! The doughnuts were hot and fresh, and tasted so good. Sugared just right. They had plenty of options to choose from. The cream filled were one of my kids favorite because they weren’t filled until you choose your flavor. So they tasted that much better as opposed to other places where the dough is kinda soggy from the cream being in for so long… but this place had it right! The owners were super nice and friendly. A must stop if you’re passing through Seymour!

“Food was great. Service was great. I was disappointed at the wear and tear on the place. Was so nice when I was growing up there in the 60s and 70s. Please never shut the restaurant down and stay Texan. But please renovate it in the old style that it is now. Barstools, booths and tables. Too many historical places getting replaced. We ate at the Rock Inn in Memphis and it is awesome and met the owners and found out they owned the one in Seymour. Cool. Thanks”

“When you pull into an eating establishment with the name SONIC, you would naturally expect it to be fast. Well, this one in Seymour was definitely just that. But, not only was it fast, it was good too and hot! The young gentleman car hop was also very nice and quick. So, if you're going on Texas hwy 277 by Seymour, take the 277 business road and stop by the Sonic and relax, you'll be back on the Hwy before you know it.”
