We were there to celebrate a birthday. Renee made it a special evening. Her service was outstanding, and th food was excellent.
This was our first time at this location. And we had a big group. The staff was very flexible to our needs. My reservation was at 5pm we were seated at 4:50pm. Food came faster than we thought. The only thing that was a bit bothersome was that the kids meals took about 5-10 minutes longer than the adult meals. It really was not a big problem as our kids were all older than 4. Overall would eat here again
They accommodated a group of young ladies for a Galentine's Dinner and everything was planned according to my specifications. The waitstaff and manager were very attentive to the group and took very good care of them.
The kitchen sent out my order completely backwards. Went online to their site to send a note. They didn't even bother responding AND their box to type the issue allows like 30 characters so you cannot even clearly communicate the issue. Super crummy experience.
we went on valentines with a reservation and had to wait around 10 minutes passed our reservation time. Food was okay and portions were good. Our food was somewhat lukewarm warm not hot and was sorta bland, overall mediocre
Perhaps our server was mew but service was poor. I noticed the floor mgr never came by our table of six, seemed to stay on one side of the room we were in. Again, maybe the server was new, but we should have been checked on, sat way too long for desert request. We noticed also the table next to us was there and then left. Other than that, we would still return, but just to let those know of our experience. Thank you
We went on a Friday afternoon around 1pm.....we were greeted with a smile at the front door and showed us several tables and allowed us to choose where we wanted to sit... our server came without us having to wait and was so very nice and kind to the 4 of us boomer grandparents. He explained everything and gave us suggestions and helped us have the perfect meal including dessert. The four of us had a wonderful time and will definitely be back... Thank you Eddie!!!!
Zach the bar tender was such a fantastic server. Extremely nice, knowledgeable and his timing was dead on The capital grille should steal him away
best manicotti I have ever had in my entire life!!!

I have been here 3 or 4 times, and once to another location, and it has consistently met or exceeded my expectations. The food is delicious (and bountiful! Expect leftovers.), the atmosphere suits both the family gathering and the first date, and the waitstaff is well trained and personable. I would say that I wish they had more options on the menu, but they do such a good job with the items they do have that I have always been satisfied with what I got. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Food: The food was expensive, and the excuse by the establishment was that the restaurant was "family style" and served big portions, but as can be seen from the pictures I took, that is not true. Our meal, which was just an appetizer and a slice of cake, cost over $52. The calamari was sliced thin and was even worse than rubber, and the cake was both cold and dense. The only good thing was the complimentary scoop of vanilla bean ice cream that my wife got because it was her birthday, and it was very creamy and sweet.
Service: When we arrived, three separate people passed by us and said someone would help us soon. We had a reservation for 8:30pm and despite being at least 5 minutes early, we did not get to sit down until 8:40pm. When we did get our seats and our waters, my wife complained of an oily taste when she squeezed the lemon into her water. Also, the server forgot to bring us an extra piece of bread that he said he was going to bring us.
Atmosphere: The best part of the restaurant was the atmosphere. All around the establishment are photos of Italian cultural figures like artists, actors, and musicians, as well as fun facts about Italy. The tables are very old-school with checked tablecloths and candles for ambience. It really feels like the place could be good for a romantic date night, but the rest of our experience was a letdown.

Our waiter was amazing, but the food was so bad. I took my son and his girlfriend for the first time with my husband, and I was so disappointed in the quality of the food.
I was used to the location off of Westheimer, which food was always amazing. This is my first time to this location and I definitely won’t be back.

I have been wanting to eat here since I moved here because I heard it was great. When I went, there was an awful smell in the restaurant and I ordered lasagna and a salad. I got so sick when I got home I spent all night in the bathroom. I would not recommend.
