I've been to the Dave & Buster's in Shenandoah many times. There are just not many places that combine all the entertainment options that D&B can offer... awesome, up-to-date and state of the art video games, a restaurant with an amazing array of food available, a full bar with any drink you can imagine (within reason), and a staff of wonderful people that bring the whole experience together that other places just can't compare to.
There is this most awesome and righteous game tech dude named Hanky that went above and beyond in making our outing to Dave and Buster's a most memorable occasion, and I would love to single him out for special attention from his equally awesome co-workers! I hope they give Hanky all the attention he deserves for being so spectacular!
I DO truly have always loved going to D&B, going as far back as the first store that opened in Houston off Richmond all those years ago. Great business and great fun. Keep it up, guys and gals. Good work!

Edit-12/11/2025, forgot to update this but best Dave & Busters around here, 10x better than the Houston location, food is always on point, servers are perfect, managers are cool. We love this location.
We go here often with our kids but today was awful. 1st they sat us at a table that is right next to where people reload their cards so there were people literally talking over our heads as we ate. And the place was not busy at the time. 2nd the server had 2 tables including us when we got there and got a third service was way too slow and we watched him chatting with co workers at the bar majority of the time. 3rd when the food came out a different server hands my 3 year old her pizza from across the table (already not the best idea) then looks away and drops hot pizza in her lap had my wife not caught it the whole plate would have been in her lap. There was no offer to replace the dropped slice or even an apology he just laughed it off. Thankfully the pizza was not that hot or this could have easily been a lawsuit. Finally the bill comes and we attempt to use the 30% discount from purchasing the summer pass and they couldn’t get that to work so we ended up paying the full cost of the meal and moving on with playing the games which are the only reason they’re getting a 3 and not a 1 star for this experience.
Update: downgraded to 2 stars. The company responded to our review requesting we reach out which was a good start. My wife calls and leaves a message. No return call instead they email her. Not what we expected but ok at least it’s something. 3 days go by with no response not even an acknowledgment of receipt of our response meanwhile the initial email claims they’re dedicated to getting to a resolution. Highly disappointed

Came here for my son’s birthday prior to dinner. He had a great time. However, the appetizers we ordered came out cold but waitress was phenomenal. She was very attentive and she cannot be blamed for what occurred to the kitchen. It would be ideal if the prices came down as far as the games are concerned. Though my son has thousands and thousands of points to buy things in the “gift” center so to speak the number of tickets required is astonishing.

Horrible experience, manager was no help. Too expensive, 15 games max, all little kid games. Games double charge. Games kept shutting off and “requiring attendance”

I recently started taking my kids to Dave & Busters to take advantage of the season pass. The only two near me that Im aware of is this location and the Katy location. Both of which are equally a good distance from where we live. It took us several visits to understand that each time you visit a different location your season pass has to be reprogrammed for that location. This is a technical oversight that definitely takes away from the overall experience. Each visit we have had to spend 30 min up to 1 hour trying to get everything moved over from one location to the other. Then there always seems to be some other glitch that happens and we end up switching through at least 3 cards for each pass before its all settled. This in itself is very frustrating and would normally be enough to completely keep me from ever returning to this establishment. The one and only reason we keep going back is the manager Kendrick. He has helped us at both locations and was always extremely eager to resolve the issues. As a business owner myself, he is exactly the person you want as the face of any business. D&B is extremely lucky to have him and I sure hope they know that. If theyre not already, head hunters should be lining up to poach this guy, (not joking). He also returned my debit card to me that I had dropped once. He is the only reason we continue to go to D&B. Without his customer service we would have never gone back. Its very frustrating to have to go through the waiting and switching through cards every time we go but I'm confident it will be handled professionally and as quickly as possible. Now if their technical team can take notes and fix this issue this place would be top notch. If this was my company I'd have this person training and overseeing all front end management.

Visit on Veterans Day was not given my full 15% off for Veterans Day had to pay regular. The price for the food was very disappointed.

I had reserved for a birthday party of up to 20 people on Nov 1st And I did the reservation online. However, when I got to the location, the reservation wasn't correct. As the online website offered something that the store couldn't actually provide. However, after speaking with management, talking things through, we were able to come to a conclusion and they were able to help me trying to keep what my contract was originally at. I appreciate all their efforts and everything they did even though 20 people did not show up. I appreciate them anyways, and what they were able to do to correct an issue that was not on our side or their side, just the websites.. Will definitely be going back
