Lupe Tortilla near The Woodlands is hands-down one of the best places in the area for authentic Tex-Mex. The menu is packed with favorites, but the fajitas and enchiladas really stand out—perfectly seasoned, generous portions, and sizzling hot when they hit the table.
Another huge win for our family is how seriously they take gluten-free dining. Half of us have celiac, and it’s rare to find a restaurant that not only offers gluten-free options but also trains their staff on cross-contamination protocols. Our server was knowledgeable and reassuring, and the kitchen went the extra mile to make sure everything was safe.
The margaritas are equally impressive—bright, bold, and refreshing, with frozen versions that are dangerously easy to love. Pair that with attentive service, a lively atmosphere, and reasonable prices, and it’s easy to see why Lupe Tortilla is such a favorite. Whether you’re after a fun night out, a family meal, or a spot that caters to dietary needs without compromise, this place delivers.

I walked in behind a couple. I was by myself. There were 4 people at the host stand, two people were helping the couple and the other two individuals just stared at me. They finally helped me,, after I started directly looking at them. I was sat in a very hot room in the back, I could see the thermostat and it said 74.. I waited 10 minutes before I asked a server, if there was a server for my table, as no one had even acknowledged me, what so ever. The manager then came over and took my order, she apologized, but it didn’t seem sincere. In fact, she was almost laughing at me. The only part of this experience that was good was the food.

Spent over $100 for lunch for 2 people today and half of the shrimp were not deveined that’s absolutely disgusting and unacceptable the tortillas are amazing I asked for extra to go because we barely ate our food cause the shrimp was so gross and they only gave us 4 it was definitely not enough for how much we had it just felt really stingy we spent a lot and would have happily paid for the extra tortillas if they gave us the option also the queso is that velveeta stuff not real queso it’s edible but definitely not worth the $10-$15 they charge for it I really like the tortillas but I don’t think we’ll be back

Party of 45+ showed up for lunch after a baseball game. Lucas, Kady, and the rest of the crewfolks killed it. Service, food, atmosphere all great.

We always visit when in the area. Always top notch everything!
The menu has a good variety, the staff is attentive, and the food was well prepared.
Food is always good, service is less than average. Put ourselves in line for a table online, as recommended by the hostess when I called, made a special note that it was my daughter’s 8th birthday. Nothing was done. When I mentioned it on my way out, the receptionist asked if I’d told my server. I had not, as I’d made the special note online when booking the table. Disappointed to say the least.
Nice ambiance and also a vegetarian menu.
Over priced mexican food. Nothig special. The shrimp tasted stale. Definitely not quality ingredients.
