Dinner on 08/31/2025. The food was good and the service was okay, but the atmosphere is outdated. It looks like there hasn’t been any renovation in at least 25 years..
My main concern however, is that they altered the tip amount.. We left an 18% tip of $25, but my credit card statement showed a 20% tip of $28. There is no way this was a misread of a '5' as an '8' as the numbers were clearly written, and my total was correct. This feels deliberate and dishonest..
Traditionally, tips ranged from 10–15% of the food total before tax. Nowadays, the standard is typically 18% or more, calculated on the total amount INCLUDING TAXES and excluding any discounts. On top of that, restaurant prices have already increased significantly in the last couple of years. Red Lobster should be grateful that customers are still dining at their pricey food restaurants and leaving an 18% tip...

Red Lobster has always been a family favorite. Our last visit was shockingly disappointing. The fish and chips used to be the best! Inside the hige piece of beer battered fish was a thixk piece of flaky, white, delicious cod. The clam chowder I remember was thick with big clams. Red Lobster's blue cheese dressing used to be so good, I wanted to lick my plate after eating a salad. However, none of this was our last experience. The great fish and chips were replaced with obvious frozen battered fish, very comparible to Gordon's, from the grocery freezer.. The delicious blue cheese had been replaced with cheap bottled blue cheese dressing. The clam chowder was thin with very little detectable clams. The crab bisque had literally no flavor. Sadly, our Red Lobster days are behind us. Prices increased while quality hit the pavement 😪 ***I want to add that our server was excellent and our party of 13 was hosted in a private room, which was wonderful.

Service was great but the food was sub par. Got the admirals seafood platter and it was clearly pre-made frozen seafood just thrown in a fryer. Not good. Cheddar bay biscuits were the only good part of the meal.
We love Red Lobster! Especially the shrimp scampi! Food was great and delicious. The only complaint is I wish that the packaging for the shrimp was better. I took it out to check on the order and dribbled butter sauce all over the place. Happened again in the car and then when I got home. A more liquid proof packaging would be beneficial! Or at least mind when you take those packages out of the bag.

Went for the first time in over 10 years for the advertised boil menu. Crabs and shrimp were ok but bland. Service was spotty, the manager on duty was covering from another store and was courteous. But we had to ask the manager for a take out box large enough for the crab legs as the waitress stated they could only give smaller ones 🤔. The couple next to us asked for a refund and received it from the manager for the bland seafood boil meals. Won't be going back and remember why it's been so long.
