This was my very first time stepping into the Katy SomiSomi. Found them by accident. The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh-baked taiyaki hits you… the goldfish-shaped waffle cones lined up behind the counter smell so good. I went with the Cookies & Cream + Earl Grey and I asked for Nutella filling inside the taiyaki. The Earl Grey brought a subtle tea floral notes that cut through the rich cookies-and-cream chunks, and the warm Nutella tail of the fish cone was the perfect crunchy-finisher. I will come back for more.
