friendly atmosphere because of the staff that is patient and kind;
for the food, they are cooked fresh; so are the desserts, but if those two things are not to your liking, then there's always prepackaged desserts to eat;
overall, i have not much to say negative about mesquite; rather, i am well satisfied with this dfac!

Far as food is concerned its very hit and miss. Ive been given cold food as often as hot. Not every grill cook makes the food the same way. Breakfast is good though (when it's served fresh). Staff is friendly with few exceptions.

Love You guys sandwiches wish they were available more often. 0640 Tuesday guy named Robert gave excellent service in making sure I got what I wanted. The service is what makes this place the best. That and the chicken nuggets

#1 DFAC at Shepard AFB! The employees were always friendly and always greeted us with friendly conversation. Only time it was slow was during lunch on the weekdays. Some more healthy options would be nice but it wasn’t awful. Good variety of drinks and condiments too. Loved the option to have takeout boxes too. I will cherish my memories with the workers here forever. The parfaits were the absolute best and i miss them.

Maybe the best dining facility in the Air Force. The wraps are always a popular item. Convenient to take-out especially if you're residing in 365 or 364. Although the quality seems much better than the other DFACs, the selection can get old especially if you're staying on base for more than 4 months.
