i got a small 10oz steak for $29. which in my opinion is extremely overprice. whereas if i go to chili's in plainview and get a 15oz ribeye steak, ill get it for 18 dollars.

The Cafe was empty and clean at 3:30pm when we arrived. The lady at the register took our order and gave some good recommendations. The club sandwich was delicious and sauced perfectly. My husband ordered the jacknife burger and made two special requests for the burger. The lady happily noted the changes but then they were not made when the food came. Even without the special requests, he thought the burger was good. Crunchy fries. Clean men's restroom.

There's not a lot of dining options in Silverton. The Malt shop is the reliable go-to spot for burgers, TexMex, fried catfish and the like. Good country food. Service is always good. Dine in or take out. Your other choice is a drive to Tulia or Quitaque. Stay in Silverton. Save your bidenomics priced gas and enjoy your food.

I'm glad we stopped in. At first I wondered what we'd gotten into. It didn't look like much and when we went in the young man was so quiet I could hardly hear him. We ordered anyway. My husband got the meatloaf special and enjoyed it. It had good portions. I tasted his mashed potatoes and they were home cooked, lumps and all. Delicious. I was about to give up on getting my chicken strips, thinking how long does it take to fry a few little strips. I was shocked to see them when they came out! Three humongous chicken tenders that looked hand battered. Each one would have made a meal. They were tender and so good. It came with fries and they were good as well, although a bit oily for me, but I have to be careful with that. My husband had to help me finish it all. The place was surprisingly clean. Floors and tables had been cleaned and you can tell. I'd sure come back. I couldn't take pictures as my phone was dead. :/

We ordered two chef salads, like $12.50 each, the salads were small, and one of the cups for the salad dressing barely had anything in it. Overall way overpriced for what you get.

A friend and I stopped for an early dinner. I got BBQ and fried mushrooms. My friend got a sandwich and fried okra. Everything was very good. I liked the BBQ so much that I got an order of BBQ to go. Nice people, nice prices. I'd eat there again if I were in the area.

Tonight was horrible. Had to order from the counter after we sat at our table and waited. The food was very sub par, ordered Supreme nachos and got a whole heaping basket of chips and very little toping. The young kid "male" was border line rude. May need some training on food service. We was told they don't come to the tables and wait on customers anymore. Well the lady last week waited on all the tables and we gave her a huge tip for how wonderful she was. I will add this the lady came out and did make my meal correct at the end. Very disappointed with the service from this kid. SMH
