What a great place. Downtown Sinton, TX. Perfectly done southern comfort food. I had the chicken fried chicken with salad bar and soup of the day (Chicken noodle). Sharon had the soup and salad. The salad bar was basic but everything was super fresh. My chicken fried chicken was perfect. Crispy brown crust, moist tender chicken breast. We are definitely planning another visit.

Completely unorganized staff. A lobby full of people waiting to eat because friends reservations seem more important. We called at lunch time and were told they don’t do reservations but, yet when we got to the restaurant there were several tables reserved. We went a 1 1/2 hour early to make sure to get a table but instead of a first come first serve they chose to leave 20+ people in the lobby. For a first visit, I was definitely disappointed and will probably not recommend unfortunately because there is other small businesses to choose from.

My family and I were just passing by as we left Rockport TX and we stopped for brunch. Everything was delicious totally worth the stop. Our waitress was also great. I would definitely stop again.

First visit here and I'll never visit this place again. They have a big sign in front that says entrance yet both doors were locked off the main street and the Open sign was on. Guess they really dont want anyone there. Didn't make sense to me.
This place is a hidden gem. My family and I have been back and forth from the valley all our lives. It is rare you see a small town restaurant with all the right things. My wife and I stop for the first time ever, we had the chicken Diablo and it was done perfect. Not dried out and the flavor was amazing. The green beans and mashed potatoes were great as well. Was not too busy around 5 on a Saturday and the service was great as well. I will be making this one of my spots when I come through. Thanks to the cooks and all the staff! Great job!

My first visit to this restaurant during the 2024 holiday season was great, and the food was excellent. However, a few weeks ago, my return visit was disappointing. While the food was just okay, I was particularly bothered by the hostess. As someone with a blended Hispanic and Black family, I found it strange when she walked us past several open tables to seat us in a back corner with no air conditioning, right by a window. I actually wondered if our race played a role. When our waitress came over, I asked her about it directly. She assured me it wasn't the case and offered to move us, which we did. Unfortunately, we were then in a different section, so she couldn't continue serving us. I'm still puzzled why we were initially seated at that specific table.
