I got the 3 meat platter with brisket, ribs and pulled pork and everything melted in my mouth like butter. As far as the sides, the red potatoes were seasoned well while the beans could have used a little salt but that was easily fixed, both were very good. This is what you expect from Texas BBQ

Food was excellent. Out of baked potatoes at a little before noon, however $17.50 would have been more than I was willing to pay for a baked potato with some brisket on top.
Had 2 brisket sandwiches on sour dough bread (which was excellent), plus one bag of chips and one drink for $40.

My order was take out but I really liked this place! I opted for a pulled pork sandwich and ooooooh weee it knocked my socks off! The bbq sauce wonderful………….! I highly recommend that you consider Blackland Smokehouse.

Great small town feeling BBQ restaurant. Found this place next to the town square. This place was very comforting smoked bbq place to eat at. I had pull pork and brisket with beans and corn as my sides and tried there jalapeño sausage. I was very pleased that everything was cooked properly and healthy portions. I’m a big guy so I always look for the price to match the food being served. I spent 40 bucks on this, including my Coke and a tip. this was not bad at all. I look forward to coming back to this place and I truly believe this place is one of the reasons why this town is being nominated for best place in America not only Texas Snyder‘s got a lot of good things going on for it. I’m from Hobbs, New Mexico and originally from Long Beach California but I tell you I love small towns. I love how people could just say hi to each other everywhere you go this is one of the places that I look forward to discovering and going to. Next time you’re in town I think this is a good place for anybody to have some good home cooked food.
