My friend took me here and I got a burger it's so so so big i could only eat like 1/3 of it
And for 15 bux it's like the value or a 40$ burgers best flavor and way way bigger then I expected

This is a small, family run business. The owner/chef is very, very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is attached to a blue-painted motel and is west of downtown Snyder.
Do NOT Judge the book by the cover!!! The food is absolutely amazing and very generous portions! The out side of the place is a little rough, but don't worry the food more than makes up for it.

Took the directions from Google, even when we arrived we almost turned and left. DO NOT SLEEP on this place. Do not let the exterior or the motel deter you from giving this place a try. Food is absolutely wonderful, especially for the size of the plate compared to cost. The husband is the chef, and the wife waits the tables. Service is exceptional, so kind and funny. Once again, the did is wonderful. Probably the best refried beans I've ever had.

While the location and outward appearance of the restaurant may scare you off, I would highly recommend looking past that and giving it a try. The Ponderosa somehow manages to provide both quantity and quality in their meals without breaking the bank. I have never been able to finish my meal, but I by the time I’m leaving I’m already looking forward to the leftovers! So go ahead and give The Ponderosa a try, I promise you won’t regret it.
