Best burger I've ever had. Got the Texas burger. Awesome fries too. Bring your fat guy pants and loosen that belt because the portions are massive.

So, I had seen this restaurant a few times on various Texas themed television programs. Always stating that if you are ever in Snyder Texas this is a must go! Trust me it is in a part of Texas that is not highly populated. I never thought I would just happen to drive through there! But on a road trip to Cali my wife, daughter and I made it a must stop! There was food for days with each order we had! They intend on giving you more then you paid for! They also had many choices other than Tex-Mex. I went for the Enchilada Dinner and was only able to eat about 1/2 of what was served before I was full. The people that run the place were very small Texas town friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. The places was kind of small and not many modern updates or fancy decorations. It was perfect for what it is and has been all these years! So, if you ever find yourself in Snyder Texas, this is most certainly a must stop!

This place is way better than it looks from the outside! It is located on the motel property, and parking is limited. The owner makes everything to order, and the food is very flavorful from his own recipes. The carne asada was exceptional flavor-wise and tender. We definitely didn’t leave hungry! I wish they would update the decor, so we could give that 5 stars.

We popped in for lunch on our way to Austin from Amarillo. It's a motel and a restaurant on one lot. The restaurant is separate and a little tricky to find the entrance. A small very cozy restaurant awaits when you do find the entrance. Chef takes great pride in his food. We felt very welcome. My Mom and I both had the cheese enchiladas plate. It was HUGE !!! Very good and will definitely stop here again if traveling this route again.

Biggest pancakes in Texas! :) We stopped because of the high reviews and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. The staff was friendly and the service was great.Parking: The restaurant is adjoined to a motel and therefore there is ample parking right up against the building.Kid-friendliness: My son had a blast eating the plate sized pancakes and enjoyed walking around outside after.

Don’t let the outside appearance scare you away! We found this hidden gem on Christmas Day night. Looking for anyplace open! Luis welcomed us with open arms and fixed us some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Hubby had the chili relleno and I had the biggest tastiest burrito I’ve ever had! I’m talking this thing could have fed 4 people! Don’t pass this place up if you’re ever in Snyder!

At first, you may miss Ponderosa since it is semi hidden in a motel setting, but once you discover this gem, you will always be back. I happened to be in Snyder TX and stopped by this place, and boy were the half and half fajitas delicious!!! The portions are super for your money, and I don't care how much appetite you have. You won't finish your plate! Food was very fresh and made as you order, hospitable owner-very humble guy who does everything. Please stop by, and let's promote this business. Service is quick, and the environment screams peace. I will be back and you reading this won't be disappointed you made it??

Would highly recommend the food here great chef have an all-time favorite of a dish called "The Shrimp Cup" which is only $20 to buy and a $100 value! Must try must eat here and meet the chef. You'll always come backParking: Parking can be tight because the food is so great there are lots of customers always but it was well worth it every time and will continue to be.Kid-friendliness: Over the years of coming here I've seen many families with children enjoy and eat and stay and be happy the whole time everytime. I will forever be a loyal & always come back customer and/fan of the great awesome motel/restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The establishment is on one level and I am disabled & I can say it is definitely wheelchair accessible. And well worth it if it was not will check accessible but it is.

This place is a dump next to a fleabag. Didn’t even stop. Go west at the courthouse to find restaurants you won’t be afraid of.

This place is a little weird looking but trust it and the food is amazing the owner is so friendly and also the menu is a option if you want something not on the menu he will make it. Everything is fresh not pre made or frozen so it will take some time to get your food. But once you get the food is flavorful and them portion oh wow and worth the wait
