Relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Irene did outstanding job on serving us and answering any questions we had. They also have musicians playing on certain days which you would need to check it out on Facebook.

Found in Socorro, Texas 79927. Parking is located in the back on Belen. Spaced out seating inside. Cozy atmosphere, relaxing and good vibes. Small section of merchandise to buy. Recommend for a date night with your partner.

Ever since they opened, I have to admit, I fell for the place. Service is always excellent. Food and drinks are always good. Atmosphere is unique. A added staple to the Socorro Mission Trail.

I was looking forward to going to Wine Down since I've read all the great reviews. My husband and I went yesterday, it was about 4:30. The sign said open, the door was open, we walked in. Not a soul in sight. It was our first time there, no greeter or host so we just kept walking and came to where the tables are set up. Still no one. We're about to turn around and finally a young girl/lady comes out and says "Sit anywhere." and walks away. We sit and wait, and wait, and wait. My husband says "This isn't working. Let's go." We get up and start to walk towards the door and here comes the girl/lady just coming out the side with (I'm assuming) menus. Doesn't say a word but does see that we're reaching the door and not once did she try to keep us there. She just turned and went back out. So obviously there was zero customer service and/or effort to be pleasant, friendly to get new customers.

Great place for girl's night, date night, or to grab a bite to eat on the Mission Trail. Fun selection of local wines and wares too! Check out their historic building, cozy atmosphere, and interesting events!

The food was great the cucumber water was a little sweet. The cheese and the grandmas sandwich were delicious. They had live music which made the atmosphere awesome. Had a great time enjoyed it.

Man I would hate for this place to be flooded with young ins but man by far it is the best jewel from Socorro. Great food, amazing service. Highly recommend this place.

Wine Down was a major disappointment. If there’s an event happening, don’t expect any kind of service. We were excited to try the pizza, but we ended up leaving—along with several other families—because no one bothered to serve us.

When we arrived, we weren’t sure how to place an order, so we asked. Still, no one helped. You order drinks when you walk in, but at nearly $40 for drinks alone, I expected better—at the very least, a proper glass for my wine instead of a plastic cup.

To make matters worse, the older woman working the register had the worst attitude for no reason. Her energy was unwelcoming, and she even gave a nasty stare while sitting outside, chatting with some men.

Overall, Wine Down does not live up to the hype. We won’t be back.

As per your reply, Thank you for your response. My concern wasn’t about the pricing itself, but rather that the value of the products and experience didn’t align with the cost. While I appreciate the effort that goes into curating unique wines and hosting large-scale events, I didn’t feel that the overall experience justified the price point.

I understand the need for certain adjustments during busy events, but the changes in service and presentation impacted the experience more than expected. I hope this feedback helps in refining future events, and I appreciate the opportunity to share my perspective.

This place is so nice, the way it’s decorated and everything. The service was amazing and my favorite hands down is the Brie. Nice place to play games and drink with friends.

A casual wine & charcuterie place with a special feel. The historic building adds a touch of elegance and suave. Service is always a pleasure, and the menu offers little bites, salads, sandwiches & indie pizza.

Vegetarian options: A few good choices for vegans.
