The best food and value $ in South Padre for authentic Mexican food. I drove by it for years and stopped by after friends told me about it. I wish I had known sooner.

This is a tiny restaurant that you may not see unless you're really looking. My husband and I stopped here some years ago and we had to come back for another round. They have delicious food in good portions amazing service, and because it's a mom-and-pop shop, it's never crazy busy. Highly recommend Chillito Pikin!

This place is a small cafe with wonderful service. I am sure it is family owned and worked. Friendly. Cook came out to see how we enjoyed our meat. The “mamma” was friendly. The waiter was very attentive. He took time to make sure we had what we needed. The food was delicious. We had street tacos, four different appetizers and guacamole. Our meals were served quickly. We will return.

The customer service is outstanding and besides our waiter coming by several times also did the other two waitstaff. The food needs a little work. The rice is flavorless and the enchiladas Verdes needs more sauce. We'll return to give this place another chance : )

Don't judge a book by it's cover! It's small and tucked away in the hustle and bustle of touristy restaurants but don't miss out!! We had yummy tacos and the horchata was so refreshing! Our server was super friendly and our food came QUICK!

So disappointed. Had the best fish tacos and lemonade, such a cute place with great fast service. However, ruined my trip by eating here as the whole family came down with food poisoning the same night. Also, for families with young kids fyi no bathrooms. They also charge extra for using a card.

This place has some really good food. We started with the chips with guacamole, salsa and queso. The kids had enchiladas, which they loved. My daughter had a plate with tende, tasty fajitas, beef enchiladas. I had blackened fish tacos. Everything was delicious and service was fantastic
This place is not for everybody, however, we love our hole in the wall Mexican places and baby, this is one of the best ones! The tea here (and just about everywhere on the island) is not good, but the food….. true authentic, delicious, mouth watering. Best charro beans I’ve had in awhile ❤️.

Delicious food!! I had the torta my husband the fish plate and sister in law fajita tacos!! Everything was super good and the workers are really nice! Definitely recommend!

Really authentic. My group loved the food. Tacos are great! Tex mex killer menu. This is not fancy but folks are so nice and everything is quick and delicous. If i worked here id eat here a lot!

Our food was edible. Our overall experience was okay. The queso dip was fresh out of a can and we even had to send it back to be warmed . Salsa was very watery and unflavored. We had fish tacos ✅ enchiladas ✅ mixed fajitas ✅ even though there were more peppers and onions than meat, still flavorful though. And the chicken taco plate✅And we were charged for our To go containers! ( .25) but still! Really??If this establishment would just do a few adjustments it could really be awesome. Just not quite there yet.
