They have GLUTEN FREE PASTA and pizza. Wasn't listed on the menu. But say they can do most selections GF. I even got "bread" (cauliflower crust) with dipping oil! Was great! Our server, Alex, was most helpful and attentive.

Great pasta with a decent cocktail/beer/wine menu. The pizza looked great but didn’t try it personally. They light a candle at the table which makes for a nice ambiance. They serve salad and bread as well. Worth a trip!

TERRIBLE!Less than chain quality food with even worse service. Soggy toasted bread cut into strips for breadsticks. Ice berg lettuce cubed and drenched in watery dressing. Top that off with individual packages of cheap parmesan cheese,HORRIBLE service, all at a premium price. Cost right around 100 bucks for this debacle. That was for 2 people. NEVER AGAIN.

We usually come here as it's one of the few places with decent food on the island. We got unlucky with our server though, didn't seem attentive, we didn't have silverware or plates for apps, and then had to ask for them when entrees came, our drinks were never refilled. He did sing for a neighboring table though (birthday). Menu says don't ask for changes ?Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible

This has to be the best tasting Italian food on the island. We traveled here from Houston to vacation and was recommended to try out Gabriella’s. The portions are large and the entrees come with bread and salad.My kids loved the food. So flavorful and delicious. We will definitely return. My son forced me to write this review. He said “5 star, daddy!!”
My family and I drove into SPI from Houston, TX on Spring Break for the week. We checked into our condo and began looking on Yelp for somewhere delicious to eat with great reviews. We came upon this restaurant and several reviews, ultimately deciding to come and eat here. My family and I were seated and we were greeted by the one person who stood out in a December review that caught our attention......HENRY!!! OMG, he was so attentive and helpful throughout our entire dining experience. The food is AMAZING but Henry was the difference maker!!!! Entire experience was 10/10!

Our bill was a mess. There were 6 of us and we had separate tickets. None of us received an itemized ticket. The one's who paid cash received a credit card charge. The waiter asked for extra tip and gave us a feel sorry story about working 3 jobs and going to school. The whole experience left a bad taste in our mouth and we will never return. Also if you order 3 glasses of the same kind of wine and they tell you it is cheaper to buy the bottle buyer beware ? over-priced for quality of food. Better off at meatballs Cafe where we all ate night before. Part of our party is Italian.

Obviously this is what happens when management hires inept children to run Gabriellas EXPRESS. NOTHING EXPRESS ABOUT IT. I placed my order ONLINE at 630pm. Received an EMAIL CONFIRMATION letting me know my order would arrive by 715 - 730p. At 805p I called to let them know I had not received my order even though my credit card was charged $42.88 (for a calzone and 2 drinks. Oh well). The rude girl who answered the phone tells me there is NO ORDER. She says she can place an order NOW and have it delivered right Way. At 850pm (almost 2 and a half hours after placing my original order)....I call to let them know I still have got nothing. Same girl then starts to argue with me telling me that they can't find my house and that they have called me several times. I have NO MISSED calls and I live in one of the easiest to find condos in all of South padre island. They didn't have a hard time charging my card. It's only difficult to actually treat customers correctly and deliver the product. The rude little girl continues to argue and tells me she will just refund my money. What a waste of time and money. When I tell her I would be contacting ownership/management she said...go right ahead, I don't care.
