We got the shrimp basket with the sweet chile and lime dip. It was amazing. BLT basket good as well. Band and atmosphere wonderful. Glad we made this one of our dinner stops on our trip here to South Padres Island. Fun and not over priced too.

Google maps listing shows "dog friendly" - this place is neither dog nor people friendly. Glared at when we arrived, person finally came up and said they don't allow dogs. I told them google said they did. Gruffly answered "we don't do google". Said they have a sign, no dogs allowed. We didn't see it. We were rudely waved away. Place full of overweight, day- drinking magas flying confederate flag. Just plain mean people.

Bob's main attraction is the location and sunsets. It is a casual outdoor bar and restaurant. Notice I said 'bar' first. It is mostly a bar that also serves food. You place your order with the bartender, and it is delivered to your table. The food came to the table fast and the prices are good. The food was adequate in taste and presentation. Drinks were served as ordered. Overall, it was a good experience. Live music is also another reason to go. This evening, it did not disappoint. One man band playing good music to enhance the atmosphere.

Food was pretty good. Slightly better than you average bar food. Would recommend another place to go as the best, but this place had better food than most. Great views of the bay side as well. When you walk into the bar, order your food on the left bar not the right one.Parking: Park across the street near the sand sculpture tent.

Best venue on the island! Great atmosphere, energy, bartenders, music, and food is outstanding! I've eaten their chicken sandwich 8 or 9 times. And shrimp is always fresh and top notch. Its always packed which speaks volumes to the staff and service here. Thanks to the awesome bartenders! ???????
