Parrot Eyes Restaurant-Bar

Had a great day on a guided fishing trip out of Parrot Eye with Captain Paul Rodriguez. Came back in for lunch and had some of our freshly caught fish cooked. We had the blackened fish tacos and blackened fish enchiladas my favorite. This is my third trip and it never disappoints.

We tried the jet ski tour with Eddie & it was breathtaking just being out in the water! Amazing host! & the food at their restaurant is also sooo goood!! Recommend 100%!!

We walked in and set at a table . It was not busy but no one acknowledged that we were even there. Waiter walked by us several times but didn’t ask us if we wanted a menu. We stayed for 20 minutes and finally left because if we can’t even get a menu or a greeting then that is not the kind of place we want to be in.

An island restaurant with great food and quality service. Not a tourist trap but a great place to enjoy a good meal. I've visited this place for years and it never disappoints.

I travel quite a bit and Parrot Eyes have the best fish tacos. Their food has been consistently excellent over the past ten years. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly.

Glad we gave this place a chance. It's very underrated in my opinion. Fish enchiladas are truly delicious! The only complaint is that I wish it was a bigger portion. Husband got the burger which wasn't anything special but still a very decent burger. The staff was very nice and the parrots were fun to see.

Parrot Eyes is a hidden gem. Celina was our waitress and she's terrific. The restaurant was very empty but only because it's at the north end of the island I believe, and not well advertised. The seafood enchiladas are amazing!

I should have read the other reviews before eating here. There are plenty of other options on the island that offer a far better experience. I think the management believes that because the resturant is in a prime location they can get away with bad service or and mediocre food. They don't care about their customers and I'm telling anyone going to South Padre to avoid this place.
