I had such a wonderful stay at Coco Beach Hotel! The staff was truly amazing — friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The location couldn’t be better; being able to walk straight out to the beach every morning was absolutely incredible. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the ocean.
nobody was here, but awesome vibes. pull up. prices are OK
Had a relaxing time at the Coco Beach Hotel. Attentive staff and a great manger. The hotel is a must stay if you are looking for a family friendly hotel with direct beach access. The view from the bar during sunrise and sunset cannot be beat. Highly recommend.
My husband and I love Cocoa Beach hotel, we have been 4 years in a row, the food is amazing, the staff is friendly and very helpful, the rooms are always clean. They have a bar, their drinks are a bit pricey for bottom shelf booze but other than that the walk to the beach is short. We will continue to attend every year with our family to make wonderful memories, thank you for everything Cocoa Beach we will see you all soon.
Tiny rooms but it is on the beach
Great place to stay rooms are nice r remodeled and cozy.
Great spot right on the beach. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette. Loved that it was small and not crowded as the large resorts and hotels. Loved that it was centrally located.
We used to enjoy staying at this motel years ago, mainly for the location, the laid-back vibe and the cost.
Now, it seems to be all about making a buck. The staff was friendly, but it’s obvious that the owners are more interested in making money than in providing a good experience or winning return guests.
There are no lounge chairs in the pool area, although they are available to rent on the beach. $50 for 2 chairs and an umbrella. That’s difficult to justify for those of us who only want to spend a couple of hours on the sand. We were told that there are lots of umbrellas that are free for guests at the hotel next door. We need to get the name of that hotel for next time.
We were hoping to prepare lunches in the room, but the fridge is too small to accommodate even cold cuts for sandwiches. Drinks at the bar are around $12 a pop, but because there is a bar, you are not permitted to bring your own beverage to the deck.
The economic feel of a motel is still in tact, however. Rooms are no-frills, room requests made at time of reservation are disregarded, no coffee maker in room (apparently that’s a request you need to make at the time of booking- it’s a secret). It still certainly feels like a budget hotel- just not at a budget price.
If you’re looking for a cost-friendly SPI experience, unfortunately, this is no longer the spot. In short- do you want to be bougie or grassroots?? Because both isn’t cutting it.
Where do I begin.
Con’s: Upon arrival, we had noticed that we had dirty sheets and dirty towels. Bed also does not have actual bedding, just a top sheet (if you run cold, I would recommend bringing a blanket). Internet was not working the whole duration of the trip. When we had asked the lobby for new sheets and towels, we were told they would take them up to our room but they never came. The shower barely fits one person and there is nowhere to put your washing items (we had to put our soaps, shampoos and conditioners in the sink to avoid putting on the dirty floor). After being out a duration of the day we had requested the fresh towels and sheets, we went to the lobby to request towels and sheets again but noticed they were closed and a note that if we need assistance to go to the bar. The second we walked through the bar, the bartender very rudely asked me to remove my bag (mind you this is the very first time I had stepped foot on this bar and we had just gotten in from being out on the island). Following that, the bartender continued to be rude and unhelpful. Upon looking at the pool for .5 seconds before I was rudely selected/ singled out(there was another guy on the patio that had a cooler AND a duffle bag with him- I guess the bartender and the guy were friends) I had also noticed the pool was very dirty.
Pro: Location by the beach….
Overall, I WOULD NOT recommend this place. If you stay, avoid the bar at all cost, bring your own towels, sheets, bedding, internet router and shower caddy. Luckily this was not my first time on the island, otherwise this definitely would have impacted any future stays on the island. I absolutely will be looking into other lodging merchants moving forward.

Very disappointed first room the AC didn’t work and they tell me it’s working fine. I wanted my money back, but they gave me a different room. Doesn’t look like anything in the pictures talk about being catfish!
I only go here to enjoy the bar & beach. Have never really stayed but, excellent hospitality. Friendly staff and nice clean pool. Very satisfied with my overall experience. Thanks Coco Beach for a great weekend!
One whole week at this hotel with a great bar tender by the name of Nadia. We tried several different drinks. We had a great time at the bar. Front desk Perla was also awesome at tending to what ever was needed in our room.
The bar service was amazing I was attended by nadya , fast , and very knowledgeable of what I wanted since I was indecisive like always!
During my recent visit to Coco Beach, I had the pleasure of being served by Alex, a truly outstanding bartender whose professionalism, charisma, and attention to detail elevated my entire beachside experience. In a place known for its natural beauty and vibrant atmosphere, Alex managed to stand out as a shining example of what genuine hospitality looks like.
From the moment I approached the bar, Alex greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile that instantly made me feel at ease. She was attentive without being overbearing, always ready to take an order or recommend something based on my mood or taste. Her knowledge of cocktails and spirits was impressive—clearly the result of both experience and a passion for the craft. Whether it was a classic mojito, a tropical piña colada, or one of his own signature creations, every drink he made was perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and served with a personal touch.
One of the most memorable aspects of Alex’s service was his genuine connection with guests. She didn’t just make drinks; she made conversation, remembered names, and brought a sense of familiarity that’s rare in today’s fast-paced service industry. It was clear that many of the other guests at the bar were returning customers who specifically came back for the great vibe he creates. She has a way of reading the room—knowing when to keep the mood lively with a joke or a music suggestion, and when to let the serene sounds of the ocean do the talking.
Behind the bar, Alex was always organized and efficient, even when things got busy. I watched her effortlessly manage multiple orders, maintain cleanliness, and still make time to check in with everyone. Her ability to multitask while maintaining top-tier service was honestly impressive. It speaks volumes about his work ethic and dedication to ensuring each guest has the best possible experience.
What truly sets Alex apart is his passion. You can tell she genuinely enjoys her work. She isn’t just doing a job—shes creating an atmosphere, a memory, a feeling. Whether you’re a solo traveler stopping for a quiet drink, a couple looking to enjoy a sunset cocktail, or a group celebrating under the stars, Alex knows how to make your moment feel special.
In short, Alex is not just a bartender—she an ambassador of Coco Beach hospitality. His excellent service, friendly demeanor, and unmatched skill behind the bar left a lasting impression. If you ever find yourself on Coco Beach, do yourself a favor and grab a drink from Alex. It’s not just a beverage—it’s an experience.
5 out of 5 stars — Highly recommended!
