Breaking Bread CAM Shack

We walked from our hotel and were so happy to hear songs we knew! Automatically we knew we were going to eat at this food truck because of the scripture on the side and the Christian music playing. Food came out hot, full of flavor and the staff was incredibly friendly. Can’t say enough good things!

They serving moldy food, have a pregnant fiancé. He was talking about it was only the outside that’s moldy. I got the pineapple dish. It was $25 refused to give a refund.

Definitely have had better Mexican Food truck cuisine from Austin so this was a bit of a let down. Tried 3 different entrees and all 3 had meat that lacked quality and soggy corn tortillas despite charging city prices. Though service was nice and the salsa did have a kick to it.

Overpriced bad food. First and last time eating at that place, I do NOT recommend it.

The staff and food were top notch. Definitely returning for their delicious hot cheetoz nachos!

4/10 got a burrito had literally no meat at all, had no flavor, never again🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️❌❌❌❌

Best hot Cheeto burrito I’ve ever had in my life. It’s definitely a must try when you’re out here in South Padra. You won’t be disappointed 😎

Had to go back a second time it’s so good. They even remember who we were when we came back. Owner has a great message, great vibes and personality.

Terrible food, barely cooked and horchata was very unsweet.

We’ve spent the weekend on SPI, we’ve ate many restaurants and the Birria tacos at CAM shack were the best! The chicken sandwich was amazing as well.

This place was awesome, the owner was welcoming and genuine. Food was amazing, we ordered the baked potato and the marranada, was so freaking delicious we went and hit up their burrito express the next morning for their breakfast burrito and again was NOT disappointed, can't wait to go back!

Sooo good birria tacos amazing & juicy rice was a little hard but overall 5/5 🫶🏼

Bistec tacos were soft & tasty. The corn tortillas were also soft, so they will begin to rip. The fish tacos were alright, left nothing on the plate though. Rice and beans were also alright, however it’s a good late night snack when you’re looking for tacos here in SPI. Be prepared for almost $15 plates. Would definitely come here again, service was also respectful!

My daughter has been craving a chicken quesadilla. We got her one in this place last night around nine. The chicken tasted like a mix of overcooked chicken with tuna. It was quite disappointing , we keep paying the price for a fresh meal in some of these places, and we get food in return.
