We have eaten at Tom and Jerry's many times over the last 10 winters. We have also dressed up for The Bongodogs on Fat Tuesdays at least twice. So, this review is hard. I do not like giving one star reviews. I must. Tonight, my wife and I arrived shortly after 5:30 pm. The place had quite a few people but there was plenty of room. We went early because we knew the Cowboys were playing the Lions at 7 pm and thought we wouldn't get a seat at that time. What we DIDN'T expect was to be told that the nightly special (advertised being served from 5 pm to 10 pm) posted just 3 hours earlier on Facebook would already be sold out at 5:45 pm! So, we already had our drinks and wanted to eat and ordered the Sizzling Shrimp and Mahi Dinner. We had been in the mood for the steak but were pleased when we saw our meal brought to us. Pleased, I mean, until we bit into the dryest, most over cooked Mahi we have ever tasted. We really couldn't complain to our server since he didn't show again until we we were almost finished with our shrimp and sides. I don't really think his absence was his fault. The place seemed very short of staff for a night the Cowboys were playing. We did tell him how dry the fish was when he finally came back. He asked if we wanted something else but that moment had long passed. We told him to bring us a to go box and that we would try making a fish dip out of it. He did and we will. This restaurant has a good reputation and we have had good experiences in winters past. This was our first ( and probably last) visit to Tom and Jerry's this winter. Advertising a special from 5 to 10 and running out at 5 :45 doesn't cut it. And, then being so disappointed in our 2nd choice, seals the deal. Pictures included of their Facebook ad and our receipt.

The food was absolutely delicious and arrived quickly, beer reasonably priced, atmosphere was great, yet somehow the service was the BEST part! Christy goes above and beyond, what a sweetheart!

Sat our family in a quieter area, but tables would rock. Pepperoni Pizza for $20 completely disappointed. Fish tacos were tasty. Taco Tuesday - Charro beans side were the favorite. We ended up here bc the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed. Took 25 min to get our food. Place was busy, but not packed.

We got seated right away but our food took over a hour to arrive and my husband food was not good shrimp also did not taste fresh. And people that arrived after us got their food before us even that we had already order 45 minutes before they even arrive to restaurant .

Was on vacay and was looking for a bar to watch college football...this was the perfect place! Food and service were very good and plenty of TVs. We went back the next day to watch the NFL.
Watched the Vikings there. The bar was better then the Vikes! 🤣🤣

The atmosphere is amazing and our waitress, Shelley was amazing! Our party of four had oriental chicken salad, po boy sandwich, fried fish basket and chicken Alfredo. All very good! A must go to place to eat on the island!
