Spicy chicken and roll was great. Green beans were a bit overcooked. Service was quick, and friendly. Manager asked if it was warm enough in the restaurant for us. Our food had arrived so fast we didn't have time to take our jackets off. The restaurant was clean but it is a fast food location without ambience.

Order the tenders gravy fries & okra with sweet tea. Fries weren’t fresh. Okra was good. Chicken was a mix, some pieces perfect others questionable (old, hard, overdone). sweet tea was perfect. The inside smells FUNNY/STINK. Guys in there with long ponytails and no hairnet on the revealed parts.

We’ve eaten at this location a few times but it’s hit or miss on customer service. One time, our order was given to someone else who didn’t even place an order! He was in front of us with his friends and didn’t order anything but yet, he got food! After 20 minutes, we went to the counter and asked when our order would be ready & we were told we’d already received it! I said that if we’d received it, we wouldn’t be asking where it is!
The manager looked a bit miffed & gave us our order, he asked the girl who brought out the food & she shrugged & said she gave it to the other customer… the manager apologized to us & asked us if we’d like a free item to make up for the mistake & we said “no”.
Another time, I place an order for a two piece & got a 5 piece, including a wing! I didn’t know if it was a mistake but I was told to keep it. When I lifted up the wing, there was a greasy black hair stuck inside the bottom, under the wing! Ewwwww!
Other than that, it’s clean inside & conveniently located although it can be a challenge turning left into & out of the parking lot & the parking lot is rather small. They also have a couple of tables outside as well, for al fresco dining. They used to have stalls outside, like Sonic has, for ordering, I only used it once as it was a hassle because there was no way to pay at the stall. Last time I went there, I noticed that the speaker boxes were gone so I’m assuming they were removed.

Drive thru only experience. Went by there today for fish. It was dry. The pickle fries were ok. They have been great before. The landscaped area though……. It looks like it’s not a business. Weeds growing for months it looks like not weeks. Surprised to see it like this.

Long wait in the drive- thru. Messed up our order and we were already at the park when we realized it.

I stopped in last week for dinner. I stood and waited at the counter for several minutes before I was even acknowledged. That should have been a clue. I opted for the fried catfish, fries and unsweet tea. Other locations I’ve been to, the fish is always made to order. After close to a 15 minute wait my order arrived. The fish was warmish and that might be a stretch. It lacked any crispness at all and just didn’t feel fresh. The fries, soft and barely warm. The hush puppies were the highlight of the meal. Most of the tables had crumbs and the restaurant just didn’t have a clean feeling. Even though it’s the closest chicken restaurant to the house, I don’t think I’ll go back.
Ordered online for pickup, waited for 15 minutes or more, had bag sealed so didn’t check order. Order was wrong, ordered 2 breast and got one breast, one back/thigh, dinner came without okra that was ordered, only one side but should have come with two. Checked our receipt and it was as ordered. This is our second visit for pick up where we paid for food that we didn’t receive. Quality of food just seems to have changed too, we were very disappointed and it’s a drive for us to come so most likely will not be back.😣

Went in for late lunch, not busy at all at 300pm. on Thursday jan. 30th 2025 no one inside dining. we stood there waiting for the young man in back to acknowledge us..he saw us kept doing what he was doing never said 1 moment please or anything so we left!! If i were his boss he'd be looking for a new job. if he was the manager shame on him. We left went to Popeye's greeted and had our food hot and with a smile! Bulverde chic ex you need to do better!

I've never had a bad meal here, but tonight was horrible. Hubby got a 4 piece tenders that were overcooked, dried out, and had a burnt taste, but it wasn't burnt. I had a 2 piece breast and thigh. My food also tasted burnt. Old oil, maybe..? Will not be back.
