I had such a lovely visit to Pontita Winery. Pat was incredibly kind and knowledgeable—he made me feel right at home. Peggy’s expertise in the wines was impressive, and her thoughtful suggestions helped me discover new favorites I wouldn’t have tried otherwise.

Beyond the delicious wines and warm hospitality, what truly stood out was Pontita’s commitment to the community. Their contributions go beyond the vineyard, and it’s clear they care deeply about making a positive impact.

I’ll definitely be back—this place is more than a winery, it’s a beautiful blend of heart, craft, and connection.

We had a lovely time at Pontita Winery. Our dogs were welcome and treated so well, as were the rest of us. The wines were delicious and the service was great.

The wines were all very unique and tasty. Connie was very helpful in explaining the differences of each wine and the history of the vineyard. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

EVERYONE was so wonderful! Pat was extremely knowledgeable and informative! My absolute favorite winery I have been to by far. You will not be disappointed!

They claim to specialize in dry reislings. Their wines were not dry at all. They were sickly sweet which is great if that what you are into. The reds were unrecognizable. Worst wines I've had in Texas. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the wines were awful.

Great wines and dog friendly! We weren't sure if our dogs would be allowed by looking online, but we showed up and everyone was very welcoming and friendly.

The wines were also very good. One of the previous reviews I read said the wine was too sweet. I disagree with this having tasted at least 6 of them. A couple of them smell very sweet but then the taste is not. Great experience overall and I am not a wine person. Our waitress was also very knowledgeable about the winery and hostory/mission of the company.

Pontita is such an amazing gem in Comal County. Besides the amazing wine selection, the entire place is neat and beautiful. You'll feel as if you are home in your own vineyard. Don't miss it

our group of 6 came in for a wine tasting and had an incredible experience! Pat brought out each of the wines for us to try and he explained each of their flavor profiles and their ingredients. He took such great care of us! Their reisling selection was amazing and they all pair well with their meat and cheese board which was also delicious! would highly recommend to any group looking for a relaxing setting to enjoy some great wine!
