I cannot say this enough do not waste money here. This place needs the management gutted whole vibe changed when this crazy nut job lady walked in.. turns out she runs the place do not waste money.

Appreciate Kamryn at the bar!! (Not sure why they’d have her with tables when she’s taking care of a 9 seat bar top and the entire restaurant’s drinks…….) She was friendly, respectful, an absolute delight even being slammed with a busy Monday holiday lunch crowd! At least ya got the great hire down at this restaurant…… she never wavered or was frazzled but do better by your folks! Food was great and drinks even better. Totally encourage the ones “that we’ll eat at the bar” to stop by. Don’t be intimidated by the parking with lots of cars, they’ve expanded and have the room for you. Too excited about eating the catfish to snap a picture! 😋 Antlerita was great just like Ms San Antonio said it would be!

Unfortunately my husband and I got sick. We also thought the birds near the eating area to be very unsanitary. We own livestock ourselves and know how gross those birds can be. We really wanted to like this place too because the workers were very kind and welcoming.

We both got the enchiladas which came with chips and salsa. I must say, the chips and salsa were amazing. Probably some of the best chips and salsa we've had around here. The enchiladas were ok. They are more than likely the reason why we got sick because they did taste a little off. Probably just got unlucky, but we will not return because of the birds being on the tables.

Nice mom & pop restaurant in the area in a sea of chain restaurants. Been here many times, first time review. The food, while mainly on the fried varieties, was still delicious. My husband & I can’t say enough about the fried mushrooms. They were huge, came out perfectly battered and so delicious!! 🤤 i got the “regular” size chicken fried steak with fried okra and mash potatoes. The stead was HUGE! I could barely make it through 1/2 and was stuffed. Husband had the burger and he thought it was a great burger. Service was very fast, no wait, and the waitress was super friendly. The decor was vey western / hunting lodge vibe. Loved it! Would highly recommend.

Heard about this place for chicken fried steak - was so excited to make a stop - but it was slow service and food was cold. Wait staff stood around and unfortunately I will not be back!

Spouse ordered to-go for me and brought home. Was looking forward to chkn fried steak & gravy. Also like gravy on fries. There was barely enough to dampen the meat.

What can you say….this restaurant never disappoints. Been going here since 2008 and only once was my meal a 9 instead of a 10!

Don't bother searching for a place to eat anymore! You've found it! You won't be disappointed! And don't let the insanely full parking lot deter you, the service is very fast, and the food is HOMEMADE delicious.
