Love going to The District but never tried the sushi food truck. No line when we got there and ordered on their touch screen. Was really craving sushi and made the mistake of ordering 5 rolls and ramen even though I’ve never tried this place (had the family with me—it wasn’t just me!). First off, the ramen was actually udon which isn’t a big deal, but would have been nice to call it what it is so I’m not expecting one thing and getting something different. The rolls, however, were all inedible. I thought my husband was being dramatic by refusing to eat them, but when I tried one, there was something incredibly off. The rice was weird. It was falling apart and was missing the rice vinegar. The salmon on my roll was warm and there was another weird taste to it that I couldn’t place, but I didn’t want to take another bite to try to figure it out. Maybe we just happened to visit when it was an off day for them? Either way, I learned my lesson. Next time I try a new sushi place, I’ll start with one roll instead throwing away $100 on inedible food truck sushi.

The sushi here is absolutely amazing and I've eaten sushi all over the world. Ever since we moved to New Braunfels we've not found a place that we could really call amazing..... Until now. Everything was perfectly prepared and we got the party trace we got to choose five different rolls and two appetizers and four of us are stuffed! I know you guys are going to do amazing! Great work, exquisite food, keep it coming! Best sushi in San Antonio and surrounding!

So happy to have finally tried the food here!! Delicious food with friendly service. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with, and getting to know Chato and Alondra. We had 3 different sushi rolls, the Gyoza, and spicy edamame. All amazing!!

I absolutely love sushi tani! The sushi is incredibly fresh, and the variety of rolls is impressive. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend trying their surprise roll and jalapeño tempura, they never disappoint! I had them cater my superbowl party and everyone loved the variety of rolls and appetizers we ordered. The freshness of the sushi was noticeable and the taste was amazing. I am a regular here and always look forward to coming back for more delicious sushi! ?
