NICKLE BEER NIGHT WITH ASTROS!! When Astros hit a home run get a small beer for 5 cents. Good food good service. Seems slow on off hours and only opens after 2pm no real “lunch menus”, but ask to see what’s on special. Large dining and bar area, large outdoor patio. It’s not a bad place to stop in for a drink and watch the game.
Other than the bartender snapping at me over a question. My waiter was attentive. I miss my 242 here in Magnolia, at least the bartenders interacted with the customers in a more welcoming manner.
The 242 Pub and Bacon Cheese Burgers are the best in the Spring area ! My wife and I read the reviews and were enticed by the appealing food photos on google. We visited to drink, eat and watch the Houston Astros play the Texas Rangers. You seat yourself, either inside or out. The events are broadcast through the surround sound. Our waiter, Adrian, was prompt. I walked up to the bar. The bartender, Lynn, took my order right away. There are ample screens to watch the games on....
