Ordered for delivery from the FM 2929 location. Intended to order cesame chicken and hunan beef with fried rice. Received two chicken orders, cesame and something else. In fairness I may have hit the wrong button ordering the second chicken dish by mistake. Both of the orders were mediocre a best. The chicken was tough and with no flavor. Would not reorder again
I ordered Seaseme chicken today and it was not sweet. It tasted like they put soy sauce over it. Very disappointing and a waste of money. I’ve ordered seaseme chicken there before in the past and it tasted great but whomever cooked it this time needs training. Not going back again.
Ordered from this place because wanted to try a different place. Soup tasted watered down and lacked flavor, temperature of food was warm but not hot, paid for 2 orders of fried rice but did NOT get with the order. Called and was instructed to come pick up after we paid a delivery fee for delivery. Very very disappointed customer. I do not recommend this place at all.
Next time i will order from my usual place Tjins on Spring Cypress

Best Chinese food in town! Their lunch special is the best value (quality and price) in town as well. Glad they opened one up on the Northside. I used to go to the original one by University of Houston almost 20 years ago. Apparently that chef is now here! Their fried tofu in garlic sauce, vegetable chop chop, and hunan chicken are of my favs here!

I don't know how people can leave a rating of 3 stars or above when rating this restaurant. Obviously, they don't know what good Chinese food is because this is NOT it. The hot mustard is not even at the level of where it's supposed to be... And when you get an egg roll that is mushy on the inside, then you can expect that the rest of the meal will not be up to par; which it wasnt. These people even used canned shrimp in the shrimp fried rice. A travesty in the eyes of people who know good food. All of the Chinese restaurants I've been to in the Spring/Tomball TX area have been subpar experiences and this 888 is no exception. I'm hoping to find a Chinese restaurant that is on the same level as the ones in NY, but I'm losing hope. Anyway, I will not be coming back here.

I ordered the mapo tofu for delivery, it was absolutely delicious and much better than what I expected for the area. Probably the most authentic mapo tofu you can find out here. I could actually taste the szechuan peppercorns! Always happy to see a place offer americanized chinese while simultaneously properly executing traditional dishes. I look forward to trying other dishes from here, definitely recommend!

Food was subpar. Iced tea tasted fishy somehow, sweet and sour sauce tasted much more sour than sweet. Service was nice, but they were unengaged and the tvs had Deadpool on which I would rather my 4 year old daughter not watch. Overall, the experience was middling at best.

Ordered takeout from the website the hot and sour soup was exactly what I expected and was great. Generals chicken was very good however a little soggy but to be expected when getting takeout, I'm sure it's perfect when eaten in restaurant. Also Ordered diced chicken in peppers. I never had that dish before so not sure what to expect. It was slightly spicy, a little oily, and very very yummy. I would definitely go again
