I've been coming here regularly for nearly two years, always ordering the same thing, sometimes with an appetizers sometimes without. My bill with tip has never been below $22. That's a lot of money spent with this establishment. Tonight, I stopped in to order my usual and when they brought it out it was barely enough to cover two thirds of the plate. The server asked me if there was a problem, and I told her this was the smallest portion I'd ever been given. She offered to add more vegetables and that seemed reasonable enough. She took the plate, came back and said "the manager" said that was the standard portion. They could add broccoli for $2 more. But it wasn't the standard portion, or I wouldn't have continued eating there all this time. I got up and left. For a little bit of extra veg, they could've kept a regular customer and continued to make money off of me. The food I ordered was wasted, and I'm not going back, so I'm not sure they did much winning. Times are tough all over, but trying to skimp on your menu isn't going to save you in the long run.

It’s good but not as good as Katy location. Atmosphere is non existent service is ok the young kids are doing their best I feel and the food is great at times but also can be hit and miss ~mixed feelings…

This location has gone downhill. The menus are dirty with pages stuck together. The quality of food and cleanliness has declined quickly in the recent months.

Came here for dinner with my son, everything was great. Nice place, great decor and a good atmosphere. Food was excellent, had the Sashimi 101, and my son had two different specialty rolls. Sashimi was fresh and tasty. Service friendly and quick, definitely worth a stop if nearby.

It’s not authentic Japanese cuisine. The cooking skill of the pan fry dumplings are totally wrong. Please do not pan fry and deep fried, it’s not Japanese style, but it’s mainland china style. Steam dumplings are Korean style.

Jace is the best, most attentive server, as well as caring and efficient. Akashi has amazing food and very clean! Their coconut curry, and garlic sauce with chicken is my favorite. I love their sushi as well. My favorite place to go eat!
