We love shawarma's and this place has fantastic juicy chicken and beef shawarma's! If I ranked the best shawarma's in houston it will be 1) Phoenicia and 2) Alwadi I mean it!!
Ordered 2 chicken shawarma platter.My notes are :This is my personal experience and you got the right to disagree with me.The food looked fresh but needs improvement on the flavor. The chicken was not cut from the shawarma rotating skewer.The hummus has more oil than it requires.The pitta bread are not resh not hot.The side salad was lettuce tomatoes ? pickles ? nothing to comment on really. Just salad like any other place.The garlic sauce. Now this is something that for sure...
Went in for a Gyro and got one. It was very good compared to others I have had but I had the sense it was closed when I went in. I asked the counter and the place is more of a dinner place so that explains the deserted feel. Price was pretty good overall I am happy. I’ll come back and try more items. Impression was good enough to have me come back but I’ll try a dinner.
