Stopped by Ammi’s Kitchen & Grill for lunch — first visit.
Ordered Dal and garlic naan — both fresh and flavorful.
Naan was soft, perfectly made, and served hot.
Dal tasted homemade, rich and comforting.
Side of mango achar and paparr added a great touch.
Clean, welcoming spot with fast service.
Family-owned, and it shows in the quality.
One of the best Pakistani-Indian Halal restaurants in Texas — highly recommend.

Once again, I placed an order on Uber Eats and my driver had to wait for so long, yet the order still wasn’t ready even after an hour. If the order isn’t ready, then why do you call an Uber driver to your store in the first place? When are you planning on fixing your service? Treating customers like this is far beyond frustrating. I spent my money at this restaurant, yet the service and management feel so immature.

We absolutely love this kitchen and I'm surprised I haven't done a review for it already. We have catered from them before and loved their catered food. The pakistani Chinese fusions are always a hit in our house.

We have dined in with them, and every time the food comes out in a timely manner. And even though they're pretty busy, they always seem to get out order, right away which is a big deal to us. We don't like waiting unnecessarily-- I mean, no one does, but we especially do not.

We have done take out with them multiple times--we get take out more than anything. We love their Sunday brunch specials. My only complaint would be that I wish that they would do it earlier because 11am is pretty late for us, we want halwa puri earlier than that!

As long as they remain professional, have a clean establishment, tasty food and good customer service--we will continue to support this business!

Ammis Restaurant never disappoints! Their zinger burger is on another level – crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Honestly one of the best I’ve had, way better than the usual fast-food chains.

But what really makes the experience special is Ali Bhai’s hospitality. He treats every customer like family, always welcoming with a smile and making sure you’re well taken care of. That personal touch makes the whole dining experience memorable.

Had a great time in Ammi's Kitchen today, me and my whole family goes there for breakfast after Eid Prayers.

Met the Owner, Ali, this time. What a hospitable and friendly individual! We need more people like him as the face of Ammi's Kitchen.

Bad experience

No doubt the food is good,we order this place always in big quantities.personally they dnt know me but from our organization as community mosque of the areas and some of our families like his food.we always had nice experience but personally I
First time Last week we went their with some family friends and we are total More then 10 people the counter lady was so exhausted and taking order like she don’t want to
she may be lol ☺️owner or may be so tired a bad its not even closing time around 7pm
We read Magrib there and food was so late the chat came only with to go box and they didn’t
Even give the Plates. I don’t what we described as her behavior but it was so weird.
it’s not an complaint but as we walked in without informing them we knew how they handle

I had the best experience at Ammi’s today. Front guy is extremely nice and his attitude is very friendly. I love the mango lassi and zinger sandwich which is really big. Will be back soon.

I had puri halwa. Puries were not good crunchy and crumbly. Allo tankary taste like achar, seems this is cooked in achar only. Chana curry was better. Having digestive issues after eating this. Feel heaviness even after 6 hours. Will never suggest this to anyone.

Bad service bad food. I will not not go there or recommend anyone to go there. They made us wait for 2 halwa puri for more then 30 minutes and other people came after us got there food and we waited and then when we complained they told us wait 2 minutes and haded us someone else food. The lady on the counter ignore us and gives food to others .

We went to Ammis kitchen for the first time and this is my last time there. Service was so worse. We waited 45 minutes just for 2 meal. People were coming before us was getting their food and then when we went to ask they still told us wait 2 minutes and they handed me someone else food that was sitting there by the counter since last 20 minutes and I bought it home it was really bad and cold. Also the lady at the counter looks like she just woke up and came straight to work. Worse restaurant ever. Please don’t go there and waste your money and time.

I love this place. I come here every day for lunch for the past 4 months. The grilled chicken is amazing. Very well-seasoned.

It's probebly a hidden gem .i have been to many other Pakistani restaurants in Houston but can say this is best . We ordered anda , paratha & dum keema which was really amazing . Can say small places serves best food then bigger
