A year ago, my wife Zi and I started this lil place and kicked out some great food and met some fantastic people. I am proud of my better half for coming to this country not knowing anyone, and then sharing her talent with everyone in Houston !! We have moved on and another restaurant will be taking our place. Thanks to EVERYONE who Supported Banh Mi 113 and had the opportunity to try some outstanding dishes. THANK YOU HOUSTON !!

Their meatball baguette is amazing. I choose spicy option but instead of crazily spicy, their signature stir-fried chili sauce (that's how they described it to me) is full of flavors. If you're a light eater, two can definitely share one baguette. I also tried grilled beef croissant. Not sure if the lady heard me right over the mask but the croissant turns out to be a normal Vietnamese bread, like a mini baguette. Nothing special about the grilled beef, a bit chewy though, but highly recommend the meatball.

The lemongrass ginger tea is AMAZING!!!!! The bahn mi sandwiches are also super good, if you enjoy spicy food go full spicy!!!! They always prepare the food quickly and have amazing customer service.

I am Vietnamese and this is the best Vietnamese Banh My I have ever tasted. The staffs are friendly. The order was prepared correctly. The place was clean. The staffs wore masks. I also learn that they open late as well. I definitely come back.

What a great find this place is! It looks like a tiny joint next to a gas station....... and it is. But what they do in this place is incredible. First and foremost is the lemongrass tea. I'll stop in on a hot afternoon just for this. It cures a lot of ailments, there is a list, but it is addictive you good. The Banh mi sandwiches are the star food. First the bread. Wonderfully crispy, chewy crust.soft on the inside. When the poet wrote "a jug of wine, a loaf of bread and thou", this was the loaf of bread. Haven't figured out the jug of wine yet. The veggies are fresh and crunchy. The proteins are excellent. Try the meatballs. Excellent. I like the grilled pork also. Warning! These are substantial sandwiches. You might consider sharing one. Just a suggestion. The lady in the place is a delight. She is the finishing touch on a great experience. Enjoy

Authentic, excellent tasting Vietnamese banh mi & more!! Nothing but friendly service. Ask what she has that day off the menu. Don’t forget to order Zi’s Secret Lemongrass Tea or a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. There’s nothing like it within several miles unless you head further south. Don’t be fooled by surbanized “Vietnamese” like Vina Deli. Trust me, it’s not the real thing. You gotta go here and let Zi treat you to her made from scratch wonderful meals!! It’s CraziGood!!

I live super close and I drive by it every day. I can't believe I haven't been in earlier. The size of these sandwiches and flavor is outstanding. I go downtown to get Banh mi for the same price and half the size. Amazing large baguette ? with great flavor. Do it!

I love Bahn mis and I’m always hitting up Vietnamese restaurants looking for the best ones. I got their large spicy chicken Bahn mi with a fried egg. It was amazing. I’ve never had anything like it. Looking forward to going back ? Will def refer the homies.

The owners are amazing! Very nice people that really take the time and have attention to detail. The restaurant is very clean. All of the food is fantastic and they have a lot of choices including ribs, tacos, chicken, fried rice. You must try the lemongrass tea! It's the best!!!!

The portions were massive! I didn't expect the size of the bahn mi that I ordered. For the price you're paying, it's definitely worth it. The owner was also very sweet and gave me a free cup of tea as I waited for the order to be prepped.
