Enjoyed the atmosphere. Im an out of state visitor but it was friendly and a chill vibes. I didn't feel pressured to do anything or have any anxiety peaks. I like the dim light and bright tables, nice spacing in-between. Love the multi options for 9 footers and 7 footers. They look used but thats a good sign cause they are still well kept. If im ever back in the area im coming here first.
I went there for the first time a couple of days ago, it was nice. Not far out. Loved that it didn’t have any smoking of any kind going on. Only down fall I will add was the food, my pizza was kind of burnt on one side and my friend’s mozzarella sticks wasn’t good at all. They weren’t hot when it came to our area no cheese pull, very cheap. The drinks were good. The staff were very nice and helpful. Even the people there, almost every table was occupied but it still didn’t seem crowded, which is good. The music, variety. Very well lit. Good vibes. It was a good experience will be back.
I had an accident outside their place, and they had cameras. I walked into this place, not sure what to expect, and slightly intimidated honestly.
I was greeted by an old friend, the bartender, and even service staff about to leave after their shift, and then quickly assisted by the manager . Even the changing staff seemed like the enjoyed working each other 😂. These are all things that are rare / exceptional in the service industry.
The manager was afraid of incriminating one of their patrons, but sat beside me to watch his cameras anyway. That sort of integrity is also rare.
If the character of the staff is any representation of this place, this place is a community of people that just so happen to enjoy pool.
My initial anxiety quickly faded, and I ended up getting exactly what I needed. As a lifelong worker in service, you guys are great and I wish you all the best.
Pretty good spot to play billiards and join a local league. Lots of good players here. The weekdays are reserved for the league play from 6pm onwards just FYI
Nice, pool hall, good service, decent atmosphere.
Best place in spring to play league of any kind bca apa or valley
Great place. A real pool room
Been here a few times have had good experiences before. Just went the other day to get a table. Said hello 2 times to the ladies up front. They made eye contact yet didn’t say a word. I could see it was busy so I chose to wait patiently. Sat there for 5 minutes, but decided it’s not worth looking like an idiot and being ignored. Went to Bogies instead and got a table immediately and was acknowledged upon arrival even though it was just as busy. I’ve had this problem of being ignored about every other time I come here, not gonna waste my time here anymore though
Nice people, nice tables.
Heather, Christina and Tony AMAZING !!!!!! Some of the best servers I’ve had very welcoming and warm ❤️ great atmosphere for people looking to learn how to play pool 😁

I haven't been to a pool hall in forever. I remember them being smoky and kinda rowdy. Not really friendly, and as a woman, not safe if you're alone.
BUT, Big Tyme Billiards is wonderful! I've only been there 2 or 3 times with my husband & daughter. There's a friendly atmosphere. Music isn't too loud; no one is rowdy. Everyone just wants to play & have fun. My 20 yr old plays at least once or twice a week. She takes her first dates there. The bartender & server know her, and they're really nice. Except for league days, we also get a table, and pricing is fair. Overall, it's a really pleasant experience.
I was just there from Wed to Fri watching the tournament! How did i not know about this pool hall? Great tables, staff and people! Shane Vanboneing was playing with a lot of other great shooters! This is now my spot! Tables are top notch! The place is a cool step back in tyme!! if you love pool this is the spot!!
Very cool pool hall!
My favorite place for friendly billiards with friendly staff good equipment and ofc reasonably priced drinks, not a ghetto vibe like other pool halls in the Greater Houston area.
Great place to play! I was in The Woodlands for work, so I took the short drive down the interstate for my first visit to Big Tyme, and I'm glad I did. I wish we had a place like this in the Dallas area! Almost 30 tables, all Diamonds, mostly 7 footers, but several 9 footers as well. The place was clean, tables were in excellent condition. They are in the process of recovering the tables, and the ones they have finished played perfect. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in H-Town.
