Overall great seafood spot. Just a couple moments that made this a four star experience for us: portions are on the smaller side and not great variety of sauces you can choose from. Three oysters were spoilt they even smelled bad, not sure how they were even served.

I’ve given them multiple chances over the past few month because they used to be my favorite restaurant, but today was the worst. The crawfish was straight mush. Here’s what I left after finding 4 out of every 5 complete mush and soft. At least the corn was fresh. What a waste of money.

If they’re gonna advertise a picture of a shrimp poboy with 10 shrimp then sell a shrimp poboy with ten shrimp. I just order one which was not a good poboy, the batter was falling off the shrimp, I order it with mayonnaise I got two lines of mayonnaise on the bread another words spread your condiments on the bread. Back to the shrimp, I got full with this poboy with bread not the shrimp which was a total of eight shrimp. I’m from New Orleans and I’m always trying to find a good shrimp poboy here in Texas, I don’t know who yall have cooking back there in the kitchen, but I certainly give this place a thumbs down when it comes to a simple shrimp poboy, and I’m not trying to compare Louisiana to Texas.

Mostly good, but fried shrimp fell short, too much resemblance to breaded frozen. And the catfish had that hard to cut texture, but the taste was good, and it was seasoned well. I had significant bay leaf in one of my three my boudin balls. otherwise they were delicious. I come here often, but it was my birthday and they sent me a $10 off coupon. I am most fond of the FM 1960 original location, but I saw them build out the Robert's Carpet building.
