Great food, pretty good cheese steak & wings.

I haven't been to the mall in ages but when I say Charley's, I had to have one. I was happy to know that not much has changed. It was a great cheese steak sandwich and the small was big enough. I also had fries that were fresh, crisp, and hot. I'll make sure I go to Charley's when I need a philly cheese steak sandwich.

I had my doubts but I am a somewhat adventurous eater to I did...wrong! Woodlands mall with kids..hunger hits and no time for a proper restaurant as they were starving all of a sudden ? The standard mall food court choices but I had never had a Charley’s. So maybe the wrong choice but a Philly Cheese Steak was the order. The bread was good and so were the veggies but the flavorless griddled meat w/ cheap cheese product was NOT! The marketed GOURMET Fries w/ cheese product and baco’s was nasty!!! Nothing close to the G word. I don’t go to malls often and even more rare is for me to eat at one....better planning next time to avoid this culinary disaster.

This was my first visit to Charley's Grilled Subs. It's located in the Food Court of The Woodlands Mall in The Woodlands, TX. Spring, TX is just to the south on I-45. When I visited on a Sunday afternoon, near Halloween, the whole food court area was packed with people. It shows how popular the Woodlands Mall is. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and the gourmet fries. It didn't take long to get my order, just a few minutes. Everything was hot and delicious. I live in Texarkana, TX and we don't have a Charley's Grilled Subs location there. In fact, this is the first time I encountered this restaurant chain in all my travels. I understand they started in Columbus, OH, at Ohio State University, and have expanded to locations across the country. I will definitely eat at Charley's again whenever I find one. I give this restaurant 5 stars, even though they don't have a drive thru window, and you have to walk quite a ways into the Woodlands Mall to find it, but the food was so good, and it was moderately priced. Very good value.

This place offers savory subs at the mall's food court area. Their prices are average compared to the other vendors at the food court. The sandwiches, specially the Philly Cheese Steak and the CAlifornia Chicken are very good as well as their fries. They usually don't offer combos that include the beverage, although, if you do a survey they offer a beverage and fries the next time you get a sub.

I do like this place the Sandwiches are good and hot and several to choose from. Also the French Fries are great add cheese and bacon to make them extra good.

If you gonna eat here, make sure you order the large one with everything, so can be worth it. Add extra bacon too!
