My family and I have been huge fans of Chill for many years. It has been my son’s favorite place since he was very young. We purchased a Chill t-shirt for him and he was told to wear it every visit to receive 10% off. We have replaced the shirt several times as he has grown. 😁 Our visits have always been pleasant and the staff has been attentive and friendly, until our most recent visit.
On 3/15, our oldest son was in town and my son wanted to take him to Chill. He even made a point to change shirts. When we ordered and asked about the 10 % the girl ringing us up said “I don’t know how to do that” she acted inconvenienced and went behind the wall. A few minutes later a different girl came out and said “we don’t do that”, I asked if they had discontinued that offer (which is understandable) and she replied “it’s never been done since I’ve been here.” Again, she was not pleasant and acted annoyed. We ordered our shakes and sat down. After a few minutes we received most of the shakes, then I noticed others that arrived after us being served. After about 10 minutes, I approached the counter, it took several minutes to be acknowledged. I asked about our missing shake, one of the employees walked over picked up a ticket and said “is this it?” When I replied yes, she just turned her back to me without another word. I understand an oversight and even if you have discontinued the discount program, but the way we were treated as if we were bothering the employees is the part that was disappointing. We have loved this place and my son may be disappointed, but I am not sure we will be returning. If we are going to spend close to $50 on shakes, We’ll go to a place that has better customer service. 😔

Brought my grandson here from 30 minutes away based on reviews. Google Maps shows opening hours at noon. Get there at 1pm and they are closed! Sign on door says opening hours are now at 2:00…every day. And they have a big sign on the front reads “Join us for lunch!” What a disappointment.

Walked in and the employees clearly saw my sister and I walk in (3/7 5:25pm) and didn’t acknowledge us. I literally waited at the counter forever but the employees were just giggling and gossiping at the back. I finally had to call the place to get their attention and the girl looked so annoyed that I interrupted their fun. I obviously did not tip and when the girl went back in there and quiet whispers so idk if it’s because I didn’t tip lol. Extremely immature highschool workers. Do better 😭

I have been going to chill since 2015. I have always enjoyed the milkshakes and certain food. But I do feel the experience is heavily dependent on who is working there. Some of the employees are amazing. But somedays like today I didn't have a good experience. I order a shake and a monte Cristo. The cashier didn't really say much to me when I ordered but I thought nothing of it. I'm waiting 15 minutes, got my shake already so I am waiting on my monte Cristo. The same girl comes out and tells me it will be a while because they ran out of nutmeg. I asked if it's possible to just do without the nutmeg and she gives me a vague answer, along the lines of "oh, well it might not taste the same but it really won't be that long, the other girl is calling the hiring manager right now about it" I am left confused because why was this not communicated when I first ordered the sandwich?

At this point, she disappears again and I am left waiting close to 40 minutes total. I am expecting an apology for the wait once I finally get my order. But it's like I was being ignored. She drops off the sandwich at the counter, and disappears again. (The sandwich is also missing the jam that its supposed to come with...) I know it was probably to make another order, but no apology? I have worked in fast food before, i understand things get busy or you run out of items. But i am disappointed. The bare minimum is to apologize and I didn't even get that. I likely won't be back due to this inconsistent service.

My shake I had was ok. But this place has a great variety of flavors and toppings. Would I come back?! Probably. They did offer samples so that was good

The space was clean and bright. Unfortunately after waiting at the counter for 10 minutes while the two teenage girls talked to each other and managed to avoid eye contact even though no one else was there at the time, we decided our presence wasn’t wanted. Unfortunate

I did not like the shake. In my opinion, Whataburger shakes are better

This was a let down for my kids, good flavor but they didn't make it the way the website said. The cotton candy didn't have sprinkles on top, and the chocolate was missing the syrup. Hopefully, it'll be better in the future.

It was a fun experience and we definitely enjoyed the milkshake. The only issue was the price and the fact that they are using bluebell ice cream. I know, I know, it’s bluebell country down in Houston….but for the price, it should be store made ice cream.

The process was fun for the kids, tons and tons of combinations of mixes and toppings, staff were extremely friendly, and at the end of the day, bluebell aside, the milkshake was yum. I recommend Chill.

Whats not to love about an ice cream shop that sells Blue Bell?

Try the coffee ice cream and the cookie and cream milkshake. Far kid heaven.

Also they have a bunch of board games. Great spot to hang out.
