Paid 9$ for a togo soup which ended up being extremely tiny for the price. (looked like a small so it would be interesting to see how small the actual small is!). Not worth getting togo’s/ the soup. Thought I’d be able to share or make it a meal but I guess not.

I got the quesadilla chilaquiles (which I never had before or heard of) I thought it was unique, it was good, I give the food a 3 out of 5. I also got the hibiscus tea and it was pretty good. I love that the staff is friendly and attentive. The place also offers a variety of yummy desserts and pastries that you cannot pass up! The one I tried was the seeded scone, very tasty.

Desiree is beyond helpful and so kind. Her service alone would make me want to return. I also called ahead to reserve an almond croissant and no issue! It was packaged and ready to go for me when I got there. That's rare for the houston area as most places are first come first serve. Great guest experience. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the coffee was mediocre, other Common Bond locations have GREAT coffee, but this one seemed sour, watery, and burnt instead of caramelized, full bodied, and roasted. Desiree was kind enough to try and fix it but I'm my opinion, you either need new beans or a new espresso maker. VERY cute interior!

The food and drinks were phenomenal! The reason I cant give 5 stars is because it was lacking signs for what door to enter, greetings by staff and instructions on seat yourself, order, the processs for first timers.

Just at the bakery today to get a loaf of my favorite fresh sliced bread.
When it was given to me 4 or 5 slices were gone. The server gave some really dumb excuse like it fell down the slicer or the bread was an odd shape and just bagged it.
Maybe you should have just sliced a new bread and give me a whole loaf instead of a partial loaf of bread. Things are expensive enough without making the customer pay for something you most likely dropped since I saw the slices sitting on the side of the slicer when we left…
Hope you can correct your problems.

When h walk in, it’s pretty nice and asthetic however when you go to sit down- the floors and tables are always dirty, I had to ask a staff member to clean some mess so I can sit down. Barely any big tables for people. Another con is that the food was terrible. Fries were dry and hard, the burger I got was the goat cheese mushroom one…. Tasted horrible. Too much goat cheese and why was it sweet??? Another thing, the eggs definitely come in a bag, and the hash brown is a brown brick, and lastly they steep the tea for so long it has an ash aftertaste. 3/10 everything BUT the customer service and the lemon water was good.

As a regular at Common Bond, I’ve noticed a serious decline in both leadership and overall experience. The general manager comes across as disconnected and disengaged, which sets the tone for the rest of the team. The new staff feels unprepared and lacks the comfort and attentiveness that the previous staff consistently delivered. To make matters worse, I recently found plastic in my food — something completely unacceptable at any establishment, let alone one I’ve trusted for years. It’s disappointing to see the standards here fall so drastically.

Very disappointed. Ordered chocolate chip cookies to take home and they were hard (crumbly). I frequent you establishment often so I know how they are supposed to taste.

I've been quite a few times the pastries and coffee always are fantastic. The few meals I've had were okay but nothing mind blowing. I'd say go for all the tasty baked goods and deserts.

After yoga in the park I went for an iced matcha latte. And the place has definitely some pros and cons.

Pros: really nice place with a great vibe and great service. There was a long line but it moved quick. The pastry products looked really inviting and savory. They have a wide variety of products with good prices.

Cons: I ordered a small iced matcha latte with oat milk and sugar free vanilla. I paid something closed to $9 and I didn’t enjoy the drink at all. It was really sweet (too much syrup) I don’t know if it had sugar but it felt it that way. Even Starbucks offers matcha drinks with a better grade matcha. I was expecting something with a better quality.

I’ve had coffee and refreshing drinks and they were all good. But this first time trying their match was very unpleasant
