Unhappy Food Critic and blogger. The long wait was not worth it. I ordered a iced tea for the wait in line (30 minute) I had to find the waiter to remind him about my drink, but I understand. The person that too my order was rather sarcastic. I received my order in no time. The brisket was tender and moist but there was no flavor at all. The bark, smoke ring and elasticity was there but sadly no flavor of smoke and seasoning. Back to Rudy’s BBQ. What a disappointment after reading all the reviews.

Great place. Highly recommended by locals and I agree. Worth the drive. The food is excellent. Esp the sausage. Yumm. The staff were great and so helpful. They play awesome music as well. Shout out AUSTIN ?
Every time we visit the area, we make a point to come by. This time, we were in and out so I place an order online and we at eon the on the way back to Louisiana. As usual it was absolutely delicious! The bowl was sooo good with the brisket. Also, their turkey is to DIE for....it's so juicy and tender!!!!!
True Texas BBQ....is there a line? Yes...but sooooo worth the wait! Chat up the fellow patrons while you are waiting!
