Came here last Sunday because my son wanted a shrimp poboy. He loved it and I ended up getting the catfish poboy with a beer. Bonus was that they also had the Saints game on tv. Place stayed busy and looks like they have a brunch menu too. Not my first time here and won’t be the last I’m sure. The fries were pretty good.

I have now visited this place twice. I should have known after the first visit not to go back. It was recommended by a co worker. I felt very uncomfortable I was the only person of color in the establishment. I received stares from customers, who seemed to want to say, why are you here? On the first visit purchased 3 adult meals. Including a fish type food and gumbo. The fish was a grilled fish that was pretty good. Not Pappadeauxs but good. The gumbo was severely scorched and they sold it anyway. It was not edible. On my second visit, a Friday afternoon around 7 pm, the Restaraunt was fairly busy. I came in to place a Togo order. Previously I ordered and just picked it up. I took a seat near where I was told the Togo orders were taken. I was at the far end of the bar. There were several people behind the bar. I sit there and looked at each person as they walked back and forth. Not one bartender, hostess or waiter or waitress greeted me and asked if I need help or took my order. It was a clear message. I exited the establishment and I will never return.

For sports fans, this is a dream! With at least 13 TVs playing games, you’ll never miss a moment of the action. The waitstaff strikes the perfect balance between attentive and laid-back, making every visit feel seamless and enjoyable.
Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! The crawfish macaroni is rich, creamy perfection, and the catfish (fried or blackened) is packed with flavor. Don’t skip the hush puppies or the boudin balls—they’ve got just the right kick of spice. And the bread pudding? Warm, decadent, and unforgettable.
Bonus: My coworkers and I discovered you can split the lunch-sized club sandwich with fries between four people—it’s delicious, filling, and such a great deal!
We’ll definitely keep coming back and can already see this becoming one of our regular spots. If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a great vibe, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!
