We had the Cajun Shrimp Plate, Cajun Chicken Pasta, and the Chicken and Sausage Gumbo. The only gumbo better is my own. Seriously.. I haven't had a place make gumbo this good before! Definitely 5 stars!!

Good food and great service. Service team is always a few steps away, not invasive;
to assist with any concerns or requests. Casual and family oriented cafe.

I've been a few times with my boyfriend's mom and the waitress we usually get is super sweet and knows what we're going to get as soon as she sees us. I regret not catching her name
The boudin is amazing and you can't find a better margarita around here. This place has quickly became one of my favorites in Spring

ALLERGY ALERT!!! All their fried foods (fish, shrimp, all fries, onion rings, chicken & tenders) in the same vat of oil! Anyone allergic to shellfish beware. It would have been nice to have ordered their sweet potato fries along with our sandwiches or, to have ordered their southwest egg rolls as an appetizer, but the waitress warned that those were fried in the same oil where the shrimp was fried.
There are other options on the menu. Looking around at other tables, the Cajun foods looked good. We were not pleased with the side of coleslaw. It came in a small condiment container. Had we ordered fries, would we have been served that little of a portion?! The Frito pie wasn't served as mentioned in the menu and when I asked for the helpings, again, these small condiment containers were brought.
Service from our waitress and other staff was great. She was attentive with refills and other requests.
They have a good size bar with seating, several t.v.'s in every direction. It's a sports bar. They have a small arcade section, too.
Finally, we won't be going back, but I urge anyone to give them a chance if you don't have dietary needs.
One reason we stopped were the reasonable menu prices and the variety of items.

One of the best Louisiana food places I have ever had in Houston. I keep coming back for more Ive been like 5-6 times already. People wait at larger restaurants, so of course there maybe be a wait at a smaller one. Ive even sat at the bar until a table was available which was fine with me. Definitely worth the wait one of my favorite restaurant now. I came during lunch hour, dinner hour and ordered to go.

Great food. Service for good food took a minute but worth the wait.

Wasn't exactly thrilled when I saw the server bringing my bag sideways while he carried multiple plates. I knew it was all going to get mixed together. Shrimp and grits definitely didn't look like the picture I saw on the reviews. Please take more pride in your takeout orders as it makes me not want to come back!

The food took over an hour to get to us. When we did receive our food, the food was overcooked. My daughter had burnt taste gumbo. My husband's food was overcooked. Two people at the table didn't receive our orders. Then it took another 30-45 minutes to get our check.

I purchased catfish dinner and everything same. Not seasoned well. The hush puppies were raw, the onion rings barley had onions in them.

Great Cajun food and crawfish!

Went on a Wednesday - steak night, the steak was under cooked - ordered well done, it came medium (I did have 2 edge bites)... I ate the salad & about half the baked potato... I stopped sending food back to the kitchen years ago because if the cook couldn't do it the first time it's not likely to be done the second time & I know how to cook & could easily finish cooking it for lunch the day following... it was very good once it was cooked like I actually ordered it... hubby had crawfish, they were small, hard to peel & tough, as if they were overcooked (ironic) the kid had a shrimp po-boy & scarfed it down - he seemed to enjoy his meal, whereas hubs & I weren't impressed... about the service, the hostess that seated us was busily taking away empty dishes from tables with people, then clearing & cleaning tables after folks left, it was very busy, only a few empty tables, which may have been why it took almost 15 minutes to get our drinks ordered, then another 15 to get them & to take our order... then it took at least another 5 minutes after the food arrived to flag someine to get me some silverware - all the more reason to not send my steak back to be fully cooked as ordered & instead just ask for a to-go box... since this was our 2nd time there, I had hoped for a different outcome, being that the first time wasn't really worth making a second trip, but hubby wanted crawfish... it's all good though, the kitchen guys delivered the food, so it wasn't just sitting in wait for a server to bring it out!

It's kinda loud inside, hard to hear the people at your own table, especially when a group of customers are celebrating & all trying to talk over each other... but all in all, it just wasn't a trip that made me want to go back again... to all who've had a good experience, good for you & thanks for supporting local small businesses!
