well I drive a truck and stopped in a Hit the Road truck Plaza, alittle BBQ trailer in their lot....I tell ya what...for a small trailer it has a big choice of food and desserts....id stop here anytime I'm in the area

Stopped in for some gas at Hit the Road. Saw the food truck and thought It was nicely decorated. Some sweet country folk took my order of a chili dog with cheese. It was a mesquite smoke sausage perfectly cooked and with a generous amount of chili and cheese. Tender, simple and delicious. Will be coming back to try that brisket plate !

I love cupcakes, and was so excited to try these. They are fabulous! My favorite was the strawberry with cheesecake and chocolate filling. The frosting is so perfect - light and fluffy, just the right amount, and not too sweet. The banana and vanilla wafer was my next favorite. Fresh not fake banana flavor and lots of yummy pudding inside. The carrot and walnut was made even better with the pineapple compote which is divine. And, because who could pass up a brownie filled with coconut and pecan filling and chocolate drizzle, I had it, too, and loved it. To go along with these sweet treats, the service is even sweeter! You’ll feel like you have come to someone’s home, and will be happy for it. I sampled the amped up bbq sauce and can say I’m looking forward to trying the bbq to go with it. It is definitely amped up, and will be my next CT’s visit.
